Pizza La Vita in Exeter

Some times good usually terrible more recently. Been using for years used to be consistently very good. Last year or two sorry to say pretty bad. I am serious. Bad food. Not nice to eat anymore. There was a period recently where it improved briefly then went poor again. A lot of takeaways in Exeter are like this they seem to do well but then get bad then cycle between terrible and ok. There are exceptions. Feel sorry for them it's too consistent to be just bad staff. Blame the council.

Order late and cold. 5 times the idea is to order. No contact from the service, I came across this for the 3rd time. the positive is the supplier

Absolutely pathetic customer service, total unwillingness to help when things go wrong, used to be my go to for food delivery but over the last few weeks have failed to deliver correct orders on almost every single occasion. Only given 1 star because Google won’t let me submit a review with zero stars.

Terrible, took our payment then cancelled our oder twice then wanted us to come in and pay cash and wait while they started making it. Unfriendly, unhelpful staff. Avoid at all costs!

I am disappointed with pizza, double chicken and double pineapple on the pizza, I have found only 5 pieces of pineapple and 5 pieces of burnt chicken. No taste... Avoid... frozen from shop taste better... Disgusting....

Bit confused about all the complaints,I've been ordering food from here for a good few years and its always been hot with decent portion sizes and delivery has been quick.Just order directly from La Vita themselves as i find it takes longer through Just Eat which aren't a great delivery company anyway.Looking forward to my next order.

Absolutely appalling food and when you ring up to complain despite being polite, they say the food tastes absolutely fine and hang up on you. The mushrooms in the all day breakfast not only looked gone off but tasted gone off too and when my husband mentioned this on the phone, they immediately tasted a mushroom because apparently they've got a tub of them ready to reheat which are cooked at the beginning of each day 🤢 I will never use La Vita ever again and I've even put images of the food on social media.

£17 for a pizza that had zero flavour It just tasted so cheap. A frozen pizza would have tasted better, the dough did not taste fresh. Honestly a novice could make a better pizza at home.. would not recommend.

Does not even deserve a star. Rude owner, when I politely complained about the food, the owner hangoff on me! Also, advertised as Halal but it is not. The owner himself told me on the phone that it was porc while advertising halal! Let alone the halal issue, the pizzas were disgusting.

Probably the smallest ‘medium’ I’ve gotten from any kebab house. Tasted good. Just a little disappointed. Even the salad was lacking in size!
