This place is simply delicious food at great prices. I understand why everyone loves to come here. I asked for a custom order and staff were kind enough to oblige my request. Couldn't be happier.

Went to Red Panda on Saturday 25th of June with a group of friends. We have all been to red panda many many times as we used to live in Exeter but haven’t returned in a couple years as we moved away. We were so excited to come back and the food was still absolutely amazing. We used to come often and were often served by the lovely owner and some lovely ladies. However the reason I give it 4 stars this time is because of the attitude of one of the ladies this weekend. The younger girl taking orders was so sweet but the woman making the buns and salads was really quite rude. She was perhaps having a bad day but she quite literally slammed a customers buns down on the counter and rolled her eyes because they didn’t come in quick enough when their buzzer went off and the proceeded to snap at the girl taking the orders. It was really a quite uncomfortable atmosphere and myself and my friends were really glad to go outside to wait. That being said as I mentioned earlier the food is still incredible and I would absolutely recommend still! It was just not what we were used to having been many times before. We’ll be back next time we’re in town I’m sure ! :)

Visited Red Panda based on rave reviews. They have an electronic tag waiting system to avoid claustrophobia in the small shop, great idea if/when it works. I told the other half to hold my tag whilst I went for a wander down Gandy Street. Came back & I still hadn’t been beeped. Went in to chase the order to be met by bemused staff wondering why I hadn’t collected my food. So the ordering could have been better. As for the food, very tasty, no complaints apart from the size of the portion. Not a lot of food for the price imho.

Gorgeous, flavoursome food. Great for vegan options (meat ones too). Highly recommend!

Disclaimer: two photos attached are not of the same bao!! After I devoured my first pork belly bao in about 5 seconds I CAME BACK AGAIN ON THE SAME DAY WITHIN 10 minutes of having the first one. This place is too good to be true. The pork belly one just melts in your mouth. Highest quality, adorable staff, cute packaging, and cmon lets all be honest here: who doesn’t love a warm steamy soft bun? hehex see you soon Red Panda! xP.S. don’t be disappointed to see a queue almost everytime but trust me its worth it. It moves fast anyways so dw ;)

Absolutely love the food from here. Their buns are incredible! They also sell jars of their chilli crunch (one of the bao toppings), which is delicious on everything and has disappeared very quickly in our house. The staff are lovely too.

10/10 Delicious food. Lovely staff. It is a must try! I got the chicken bao with 3 salads but had to go back and try the pulled pork as well. Can’t go wrong whatever you order.

One of my favourite places to eat in Exeter. It gets quite busy around 1pm but the queue goes quickly. I love their pork baos and super salads, which contain watermelon. Absolutely delicious. Treat yourself!

I tried the spicy tofu bun and was not disappointed, great flavours and filled with a good selection of fresh salads and herbs. A great spot for lunch when in Exeter!
