Great estate but let’s be honest the wine is okay but compared to Italian wine this is europa vs champions league. You drink here English romance but not the best wine you’ll ever taste.

Had an absolutely wonderful time doing their self guided wine tasting experience! The wine was wonderful (definitely try the grand reserve brut) and definitely order the cheese flight or cheese board if you're hungry!I am so pleased we found out about Sandridge with it being open for only 6 weeks as there no doubt they are going to be so busy!Had such a fantastic experience and was transported to the vineyard's of Italy, an absolute must do!

Did the cheese and wine tasting. Lovely setting, really nice wines and cheeses. We decided to stay for another couple of bottles of wine which were also delightful. The only downside was that the pricing is for take-out only and doesn’t tell you how much they are to drink in.The £17.50 estate was £31 and the sparkling at £22 was £35. Totally understandable as that’s the price you would pay in another establishment but we thought the tasting menu should say it. Maybe 17.50/31 so we know there’s two price bands.Apart from that, a really lovely place and we’ll be buying sharpham wines in the future.

Waited all through the restrictions for this visit which was a wonderful birthday gift!Well worth the wait, thankfully before the transfer to other pastures across the river!Informative and definately the tasting of the wines and cheese was a delightful few hours!Sat and enjoyed a bottle of Madeline Angevine overlooking the dart.Thank you!

Cannot fault the friendliness of the staff, their knowledge of their products and processes, nor could you be disappointed with the majority of their produce. Definitely a good reason to buy British, though wine wise they will struggle price point wise to compete with equally good wine from the mass market. It's definitely an uphill struggle for these vineyards on that front. The cheeses were gorgeous and well worth buying. The same can be said for their chutneys etc.Wine value for money aside, the other disappointment is with the website booking process. We pre-booked as suggested, so as to get a timeslot, but when we arrived the staff weren't clear on the option we chose via that website. The options were also slightly misleading and perhaps could be worded better to clearly state what to expect on the day. Minor "glitches" per se, rather than anything drastic and this shouldn't distract travellers from the attentiveness and warm welcoming that you will receive.

We visited yesterday for the guided wine testing, Byrne knowledge of how the wine is produced the different grapes is exceptional. She is a font of knowledge, very inspirational and informative. She presented herself well and die such nice weather we had some of the tasting in the vineyard. Excellent tour.

A lovely vineyard with brilliant service and fantastic wine. Very well organised, we did our own tasting but all of the wines were explained and ordered on a leaflet. We also had cheese from the dairy to go alongside, all very yummy indeed!

Devon locals, we visit a few times a year; we love the Cellar Doorrestaurant & cafe at Sharpham vineyard. Locally sourced food, imaginatively & beautifully cooked. Friendly, professional staff. Highly recommend.

Finally found a day to get together with friends, decided to walk from Totnes to sharpham vineyards for some wine & cheese tasting.Lovely Riverside walk, we had booked for 1.45pm but arrived early, couldn't get food as told fully booked for lunch but managed to get a seat to squench our thirst from the walk and cleanse our palates before the sampling. Before we knew it it was time for our tasting session, we had 4 wines each to try and a nice cheese platter to share, great experience.Finished off with a couple.. ISH..bottles of wines to make sure we made the right tasting notes.then back on the path to Totnes,Overall a lovely experience (even so we were asked to move on for the next session even so there was plenty of empty tables)

A few years ago as part of a University trip we went to experience Sharpham Wine and Cheese, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and you could tell the staff had incredible knowledge about everything they were discussing. We had a lovely tour of the vineyard and got to try some wine along the tour finishing of at the restaurant were we was able to try some cheese.I think the wine was very reasonably priced and the whole experience was well worth it for anyone interested in this type of thing like I said the staff were very informative and the tour itself was so well put together. Hopefully I will return one day and try some more of their tasty wine and cheese. If your in the area and this sort of thing interests you or youbjust want to purchase some good quality wine don't hesitate visiting.
