Really nice food here. Think supermarket cafes are so under rated. The breakfasts here are fantastic. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The coffee (latte) is gorgeous. And a nice big cup to not a little sip and it's gone. Staff are always friendly and helpful. It's nice too as you can swap items on breakfast if your fussy like me. They swap with with no drama.

The menu looked good and there were a few things we were interested in trying but at 4.30pm we arrived to discover they weren't serving any hot food!We will have to try again another time and will post a food review then. It's a shame that there wasn't a sign at the bottom of the stairs leading to the cafe saying there was no hot food available as we wouldn't have bothered joining the queue.

TOTALLY WRONG, On Saturday the 14th 2022 I went to the cafe with my wife and had the Brunch and this consisted of Free Range poached egg, halloumi cheese, roasted tomato, smashed avocado, beans, Hash Brown Flat mushroom and sourdough toast. What I actually got was Fried egg very undercooked, cheese ok, raw tomato that was warm at best on the edges and cold in the middle, not smashed avocado but half a whole half with a brown old edge on it, I got all the rest except the flat mushroom was just cooked on the outside and the rest was raw and felt like it had been just picked. I ate the Brunch but left most of the mushroom and the slime of the egg. I poured this out the the lady at the counter who never made any effort to change things or didn’t even come to the table she just said “oh ok I will let the kitchen know”. I do t usually complain and didn’t just leave a review as some people do I actually approached them but nothing was done and no care was taken at all. Come on Tescos every little helps so sort out your cook and get a real one.

Always have lunch here before doing my shopping. Sometimes a queue at lunchtimes but never too bad.

Range of gluten free options is shockingly rubbish. Choice of 4 small pre packed snack cakes. Have one very sad young daughter who couldnt have a single bit of food.

Always good choice of food, very reasonably priced. Staff are nice and so is the coffee.

This is a good cafe in the Superstore. I frequently have an Americano coffee with cold milk there. Consistently tasty. Today, I also treated myself to a toasted teacake with butter and jam. Yummy. A lady member of the staff acted as a waitress and served me at my table. (took pity on an old guy?)

Really friendly and helpful staff. I'm disabled and the staff bring my coffee over for me with no fuss at all. Only reason I've dropped a star is sometimes I've been given food that's clearly been cooked a while ago. I had one sausage I literally couldn't cut with a knife it was soooooo overcooked and tough. And baked beans that had formed a crust! But some simple cooking changes, like throwing food out after a time period and the place would be 5 star. They can do amazing food, I had their Eggs Florentine and it was delicious (unlike Morrisons Cafe where their salmon dish was disgusting).

I ate it because I was so hungry (didnt each night before) but bacon was black, tomatoes were black, sausage had black lines down it. On a plus the hash brown and fried bread was good. Latte was bitter. Not a great experience to be honest. I won't be going back in a hurry!
