The Gandhi Indian Cuisine in Exeter

Great place! We had takeaway and really enjoyed it. The staff were brilliant! P

*Simply excellent*After visiting Gandhi numerous times for takeaway and being incredibly impressed by the quality of the food, I insisted on taking 14 friends there for a group meal. We were allotted a long table, enough to seat all of us and were looked after very well by the staff. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their food and beer, which arrived promptly and with a smile. Unlike most curry houses, the pints of Cobra/Kingfisher are actually very reasonably priced. As others have said, the portions are great and the food itself is delicious. With such a vast menu, there is something for everybody.I would certainly return again, for eat in or takeout, with a few friends or with many!Thanks to all at Gandhi Indian Restaurant.

Delicious food, excellent time management (always on time when delivering and when collecting from you). We won't use anywhere else and the inlaws now love you as well so ever visit to them (30 minutes away) we have to take out your food. Thank you for another great meal.

Superb offering of Indian curry's and much more than I could choose from. The onion bargies in the picture were lovely and cooked to perfection, tandoori duck was the main meal I choose and came out on a sizzling dish. Great presentation and prompt service. Clean tidy restaurant,

I was in the area so called in, place was nice, staff friendly, food was ok.

I've eaten here many times but last night I had a takeaway .The same food I've had before BUT this time was so spicey I couldn't eat it .I have complained directly .Sorry to say I will not be using this restaurant in the future.Before this experience I would and have recommended this to many people .But sadly not any more

I have been coming here for almost 20 years and for my money its the best Indian restaurant in town. Top notch service and excellent flavours across the whole menu. I am moving away shortly and will really miss their food. Thank you for some lovely memories

Absolutely brilliant tasting curry. I had the vegetable samosas for a starter and the lamb balti with rice as my main. The food was delicious. I eat a lot of curries and this was the best I'd had in a long time. The spices were flavoursome, the lamb was tender, the heat was perfect (as I wanted it a little more hotter) and the seasoning was spot on. All in all, a really good curry and would thoroughly recommend!!!

Fantastic meal here tonight. The food was amongst the best I have tasted. I would recommend the chicken dopiaza. The staff are extremely friendly and the service was very quick. The bill at the end was also very reasonable. I will certainly be going here the next time I am in Exeter again. Totally deserving of the full 5 stars.
