The Gurkha Kitchen in Exeter

Ordered some takeaways with friends and all of our food are tasteless, like the chef forgot the seasonings! Saw a couple of reviews about the takeaway here with the same problem, but lots of good reviews for dine-in.... Friendly staff as well, but not sure about the food.

Very good food made fresh. Try the Momo lamb dumplings they are a fantastic starter. My wife had the Korma prawns and I had the Nega lamb as our mains and both dishes were very good.

Wonderful service and lovely food. Great Nepalese dishes. Loved the Momo starter and then we both had Nepalese curry dishes. Sensational.

Really excellent food, quality service. Will be back as soon as I can.

Wonderful dinner here last night. Had starters and mains and I couldn't fault any of it. The spiced cauliflower and potatoes were so good as was my main. Not expensive for the amount of food you get and a really nice chilled atmosphere. The only criticism I could say was although the service was amazing and they were really attentive they did come over quite often to ensure everything was ok with the dinner but that's not always a bad thing. All in all had a really great experience here and would recommend. 😊

Couldn't fault the food at all, was amazing. Will 100% be going back. Staff we really friendly and gave advice on the food. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant as well.

Lovely and courteous staff . Very hygienic and delicious food, loved my overall experience. They could surely add few things like soft music playing in the background to improve their ambience. But nevertheless the place is fantastic. Highly recommended

We went last night and had an excellent time from start to finish. The staff were friendly, generous, knowledgeable and good fun. Food was obviously very tasty. We will be back!

I’ve had a few takeaways from here, but this is the first time I have eaten in. Great choice of food, everything was cooked to perfection. Friendly staff, good atmosphere, and unobtrusive service. I can recommend the Gurka larger. It’s fab. The Gurka Kitchen is well worth a visit.
