The Heart of Oak Pub in Exeter

We went there today for lunch, 3 adults and 8 children, very friendly and welcoming staff, food was very tasty, hot and extremely well priced. The landlord gave the children colouring books and colouring pencils and a game to play with, we were made very welcome and will definitely be visiting again very soon.

Very friendly service with fast, tasty food at reasonable prices. Hard to beat for a quick pint and lunch.

Nice pub, crowded when sports games are on but plenty of space in and outside.

Nice but food if very limited as Friday's they apparently only do a works man's menu which means it's great if you like burger and chips if you don't like that you had it

Food was over cooked greasy had the share plate was no salad on it jus all fried greasy food needs a bit of salad with it seems like it was all cooked in same oil

Fish chips and mushy peas with a pint of lemonade the lemonade tasted like dish water a spoon full of peas and frozen chips absolutely appalling. The manageress had an attitude i think its becuase we had just finished work and was still in my work clothes. Will not return.
