I can't comment on the food because we didn't actually manage to get seated. We visited last night hoping to eat at about 7.30pm and was a bit surprised that there weren't many cars in the car park for a Friday evening. We went in and waited at the sign to be seated. We saw several members of staff (including the bar staff close by) and non of them even acknowledged that we were waiting, (a polite we won't keep you long would have been acceptable)!! After nearly 10 minutes we left and went somewhere else!

lovely staff. food its usual good standard. Clean and tidy. However, are we ever going to be able to serve our own salads again? it takes time for the waitstaff and for the customers to queue...

We visited the harvester in Exeter for my hen party meal. We had the server Katie and she was so lovely, inviting, happy, bubbly and took time to help us with anything we needed she sorted. Outstanding service! Couldn’t thank her enough. If I lived in exeter I’d be back more often!Thank you so much for making my evening meal and our party amazing!! I’ve added my desert in which she sorted herself for me :) Highly recommend coming here. All the staff seem pleasant to be around :)

Decent enough food, it's a Harvester so you know what you get.Outstanding service by Katie, helping me to get the most out of the unlimited salad bar that can only be touched by staff because of health and hygiene concerns. It's good to see floor staff being genuinely interested in making the customers' dinner experience a good one! Thank you!

Lovely place to go with the family. The kids had an awesome ice cream dessert for less than £3 each and they could build it themselves.

Would not recommend. This visit was a chance at redemption having previously visited 6 years ago and having a very poor experience we thought we would give it another go, it appears however that in that time nothing has changed. The service was appalling from the minute we entered the restaurant, waiting 5 or 6 minutes to be seen even though staff were around nobody even acknowledged that we were waiting. Then our booked table was not ready so we're told to wait 10 minutes while they cleaned the table, this table however was not cleaned and wouldn't be for a good hour after we had been seated at a different table. The waitress Thip was probably the only good thing about the visit, who was pleasant, funny and trying her hardest given the fact she had been told she wasn't aloud to take a break as it was too busy. The Food was mediocre, service generally slow. We were fed the usual bull**** about being understaffed which I guess was supposed to make the visit seem better... Not in my opinion. One of the party ordered a burger with no sauce which as you can guess came with sauce, when sent back the "replacement" was very clearly the same burger with the sauce wiped off (you could see sauce still left on the edges of the burger) so even when the kitchen staff can be bothered to re fire an order they can't even send the food out as requested. This practice is absolutely disgusting. No apology was given for the way the evening started and then to top it off we found out that the staff member who had initially seated us and set the vibe for the whole evening was the manager!!! This guy needs a complete retraining in service and setting customer expectations, I have never met such an abrupt, rude manager in my life. So I think it's safe to say I will never be visiting that restaurant again in my life and will think long hard before I ever visit another harvester.

The reason I’ve only given three stars is because I found one male member of staff who seated you incredibly arrogant and rude, with respect everybody has bad days but you don’t let that effect the way you interact with your customers …very unprofessional. The female staff members that looked after us and neighbouring customers were fantastic very polite and couldn’t do enough for all of us.The food again fantastic..When you go out we love going to a let’s say stress free environment so you can relax with the people you are with..This man was the first person we saw entering the restaurant..to be honest I was very prepared to just walk away and try somewhere else.Shame everything else fantastic.

Could not fault the place, even though they said that they had no table's for an hour. We only waited 20 minutes. The girl who looked after our table explained she had only been there a few days. But to her credit she went over and above to make sure that are meal went without any problems.well done to Mia .

We went here for breakfast with a group of friends. We all have the unlimited breakfast from the menu. The eggs were a little under cooked and same as the toast but they were edible! The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very friendly!! Will happily go back again!
