The New Inn in Exeter

Pleasantly surprised, best meal of the week. The Nacho's as a starter were probably the best Nacho's I have ever had anywhere. Great food, lovely staff, fast service.

We went for the fish chips and mushy peas off the meal club menu and apple crumble and custard all for £9,99 it was excellent and good value brilliant service well worth a visit

Really great food, well cooked and presented, worth price u pay

We came to the new inn for the steak night there were 6 of us in our group. The price for the meal for two is good as it includes a bottle of wine. The wine is drinkable the meals very good except that not all were cooked as ordered my steak was spot on as was my brother in law but two others were ordered medium and were more rare very red and my wife's was more well done. It is a very nice pub with good meals but needs to get the steak cooking right.

Would thoroughly recommend, went on steak night and had the best rump steak I've had for a while and the burgers were the best burgers my children have ever had, portions were brilliant and all for a good price.To top it off the staff are helpful and very friendly.Will definitely be back very soon all the way from Kent.

Superb food, excellent service, looking forward to the next time

Food is homecooked and amazing but the service was less than average. A smile wouldn't have gone a miss as the waiter was efficient but looked and sounded like he was unhappy to be there. Perhaps his first day?I suggested I do not like/eat peppers and he said he would check, without reply the food comes out with relish on, including peppers in it. Attention to detail missing but the food was fab and plentiful.
