Lovely meal with family! Staff warm and friendly! Not rushed and nothing too much trouble. We were treated, so don't know what it cost but lovely quality meals! 😁

Mothers Day lunch 20+ people. Lovely day, accomodated well. Pre-ordered lunch abd carvery fine, but those who chose off of the nain menu had a 45 minute wait despite the pre-order. Disappointing that we couldn't all eat together although the food was ok when it eventually arrived.

Lovely venue for a family meal, and a really nice carvery on Sundays. All Extremely good value. The bar is dog friendly, it's not unusual to find seven or eight dogs there at one time! Usually they all get on and have a great time - just like their humans. Free Biscuits and treats with water for them, a decent variety of lagers, ales, ciders and spirits for the upright ones!Note of caution, approached along a very narrow lane, and don't trust sat nav!

Booked Sunday Lunch two months ago. Decided to review so hopefully they can improve some aspects although I wont be returning. Booked on the Saturday and was told we would be in the main bar so brought the dog.Upon walking in at 12 we were greeted by an abrupt "I hope you have booked a table because otherwise you wont be eating!?". Then told to put the dog in the car as we were now in the conservatory. Shown to table, asked for a high chair which was brought and dumped by the side, we assumed we therefore had to set it up by the table. The two behind the bar were complaining about another staff member looking for a TV remote instead of doing work. Tried to order drinks - Doom Bar barrel needed changing so that wasnt available (odd considering it had first opened) so ordered a lager, then the server tried charging us anyway for the Doom Bar! Food was good on the whole although the server didn't want to give me a plate for a baby to eat a couple of peas off which I thought was a little unfair.. Tables small and shoulder to shoulder (at least in the conservatory). I would also suggest not having the sauces in the middle of the corridor to the conservatory. Upon going home I got a disgruntled phone call asking why I hadn't turned up for lunch...

Great place with great food and good portion sizes. Shame they got rid of the indoor play area but still a nice family friendly place for going out to eat with a lovely outside area 🙂

We stopped off for a early evening dinner with our kids. The staff were friendly and really accommodating. My family really enjoyed the food and it was great value for money.I had the sharing platter beef chilli nachos and there was so much of it! It tasted great too.Overall a really nice experience

We went for a family meal and had a great time. Good pub grub, nice outdoor play area for children. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shocked to discover that a pint of soft drink was £3.20 wasn't even free refill for that price! Overall a lovely afternoon and I would go back again.

This was our first pub meal in a long time, thanks to Covid, and was a reminder of what we've been missing all this time. Service and food were superb, friendly staff and great ambience. We are "fussy" vegans but they had us well catered for by their excellent menu. They deserve 5* in my opinion.

What a lovely place for a meal out. Great food with plentiful portions and served quickly. The food is always tasty and at a reasonable price. Love the family room with a secure playroom for kids to play with toys and slides. It means you can relax and take your time to eat your meal whilst the kids can get down and play, not many places have this facility. The staff are friendly and helpful. The place is clean and tidy and there is plenty of parking outside. Deffinately worth a visit.
