I've been here a few times. The food is always exceptional. However, the most recent time I visited was my little brother's birthday. There were 6 of us, and 4 of us were served our main within a matter of 5 minutes. But the other 2 were waiting an additional 20 minutes to get their food.Everyone else had finished their meal by the time they got their food. A similar thing also happened with dessert. We asked the waitress multiple times for cutlery but she didn't bring any so we took some from another table. I asked for a glass of tap water 3 times but they didn't bring it until we asked the manager when she approached, who brought it in seconds. We enjoyed the food. But the poor service we received put everyone in a bad mood and ruined my little brother's birthday.I hope this was just an off-day.

I was dining alone and the staff very kindly sat me in a really quiet area away. They were so lovely and attentive. Couldn’t have asked for better service. Thanks so much to all the staff.

First time at wagamamas for me, weird, fast food vibe, literally your meal is kinda thrown at you, by the time others had theirs on the table I had finished! Weird way of serving, I get it and it's OK in McDonald's when you're paying £6 but it's a tad more expensive here!Still trying to work out why it's so popular, that said my food was great it just all made for a weird atmosphere.. think perhaps I'm too British for this one!

I had a mixed night, the food was amazing but the service was terrible. There was one lovely lady that was really helpful and was really friendly, but unfortunately when she was busy no one else would acknowledge us and at one point after all the rest of the staff pretended they didn’t see up it took us 30mins just to order a drink. This was after the restaurant had quietened down aswell. Our food also came out at different times so by the time I had nearly finished mine my partner’s meal only just turned up. Wish the rest of the staff apart from the lovely lady were less unapproachable and that the food had a bit more organisation.

Was a good experience, food was delicious, arrived quickly and was exceptional quality for price. The popularity of the location meant that my parents and I had to queue outside for 15 minutes or so, but the line steadily moved and service was prompt, making queueing worthwhile.I only give 4 stars because some food came to our table only after questioning where it was, but this might be because the food naturally comes out when it is ready.Overall an excellent experience with delicious food and friendly service staff

It's been a long time since we've been to a Wagamama (I'd been avoiding as I thought the quality had gone downhill) and I was very pleasantly surprised. The menus have changed extensively with much more vegetarian and vegan offerings whilst keeping a good selection of meat based dishes. The food was excellent and we'll definitely be back. The only downside is that it was very busy (there was a massive queue outside by the time we left) and therefore the staff seemed overwhelmed and it was quite cold as the external door remained open throughout. I can forgive all of this in the current world we live in.

Long wait to get in, it started raining and they came out with umbrellas for us to use Service was good and fast, food was amazingly delicious and reasonably priced. I give it a 5 star thumbs up

Lovely food and quick service from the friendly staff. Ginger Chicken Udon was excellent. Would definitely eat here again when in Exeter.

The food was delicious and came out quickly. The staff were great. I always find their food doesn't disappoint and the prices are really good for what you get. I look forward to my next visit.

Amazing! Food, service and staff! Especially the staff!Took some family members here yesterday and it was the first time all but me had been! They loved it and now they know that there is a branch close to them they will be going back.Food is always hot and fresh and so much varied choice! The manager who seated us and took our orders was amazing, some of the best customer service I've encountered in a very long time! Even with social distancing at the minute, the outside dinning environment was perfect!Big thumbs up, definitely give it a go!
