Walkabout Inn in Exeter

Walkabouts are good boozers with a good model. The food isn't the freshest and they could work on that. However the service was 5*. Great value for drinks and definitely for the younger scene, although its probably the best place to watch sport as well.

Such an amazing improvement on the old place!! Friendly staff and 25p pigs in blankets and chicken wings.... sold!! Plus shuffleboard and pool tables. Finally Exeter has an all day all night venue.

Fantastic value for money, friendly service and nice food. Coffee good, caesar salad was delicious, Peri Peri chicken wrap not particularly flavoursome and light on chicken but can't complain at the price!

Now called the Exonian. Good pub, nice food and drink. Good deals to be had by joining their loyalty scheme. Good position as just off city centre on Fire Street. Good place to watch TV sport.

Took ages to get served even though it was quiet, the one barman seemed more interested in talking to and serving his mates than anyone else. No atmosphere.

I went at night and went just for a soft drink, was an...interesting experience. It was the only place open at the time to kudos to them for that but otherwise... Not really their fault, more just that it wasn't great for how we used it!

Food is not good, service also sucks... u lose data inside... barman is not friendly n they dont clean ur table right away. But they put the netherlands match for us so it was not such a bad nite. Wifi doesnt work

I have been here a few times. The prices are and the service is good. But last time I ordered a burger and i didnt get the one i ordered. Additional i had to wait for 45min to get it (at this time there weren't so many people). But the people are really friendly there.

Food is great. really tasty and good value for money, I tend to go in and eat there on a Wednesday as it's 50% off anything on the menu. staff are always friendly and very helpfull. 5 stars from me I highly recommended you try the Sydney burger!!

It may be loud and garish, but you should be able to garner that much from the bar's exterior and to decide whether it's your scene. The drinks are pretty cheap, so it's often used to host student events.
