Sure, the food is tasty but if you want to order a home delivery my advice would be to go elsewhere. Three times in a row we have had items missing from orders, the last time a whole third of the order was missing. This is simply not acceptable. Is no one checking anything? I would like to patronise the place but they really aren't helping themselves here. Won't be ordering again sadly.

Well I don't know if it's changed permanently but it was terrible. I should have guessed when I walked in and there was zero food on the belt. I used to like choosing things from the belt. Not anymore. You have to order from a reduced menu through an app. And then it asks for various percentage options for a tip / service charge. Well ... there is no service whatsoever as everything turns up automatically from the app and staff dont bother with you at all. And then the little staff attention that we had was being reprimanded for putting used plates back on the belt but yet none of the staff remove used plates from the small table for two. Plus no more ginger or water at the table. The food was very nice but the whole experience was not. I need to check if this is a permanent change as if it is that was my last ever visit. What a shame. Gave 2 stars as the food was good but nothing else was.

The change they made with how to order is not a plus: you must order through the app and you get a service fee for that which is very disappointing as there is no service since things are delivered on the belt. Moreover if you wanted to add something else to your order after the first one you did, you would be charged again for the "service". The restaurant was not busy today, however we waited a lot for our food to be served. My sushi was not that good either: the sashimi was very thick which is an absolute no no. The rice was hard as well. Portions are small for the price. The only nice thing was the teriyaki beef rice bowl my partner ordered, otherwise I spent a lot for a less than mediocre food, having paid for unexisting service and long waiting time in a pretty empty restaurant.

Has changed a lot since COVID. Prices have most certainly gone up and the 'grab what you like' belt system has gone. Sushi tasted good and we did have a good time but I probably won't be coming back.£4.50 for two pieces of nigiri is certainly pricey, considering the quality.Staff also seemed a little overworked and could at times be a little abrupt bordering on rude but I can understand given the short staffing issues they appear to be having.

Came here for lunch, busy midweek. Seated quite quickly and food came out in fair time. We didn't have much room on the table with the food, drinks and our bits. After empty cans/bottle on the table for 5 minutes we put it in a empty basket on the conveyor basket (same it came in). Ridiculously rude scruffy bloke (dark hair, beard and black sketchers trainers) came over few minutes later "did you put your empties in the basket on conveyor?" "Yes" then abruptly went "please dont" with a face of thunder and walked off. No explanation of why.. how it works.. this wasn't explained to us on arrival. No way to converse with customers. So many other places in Exeter with staff that can be polite to customers. Wont waste money in here. Worth noting i did try and contact directly but they never even bothered to reply. Updated- reply on here asks to contact direct. So forwarded the email again directly to Exeter Yo.. again no reply.

Love the new set up. You order your food it's made fresh and then comes to you on the belt. Very covid safe. Really friendly staff. My 3 year old loves it and the staff are always very accomidating to us. Would recommend sushi here.

Ordered a delivery of their classic catch (sushi mix) and was instead sent a small vegan seaweed wrap in a box saying classic catch. No sushi to be found anywhere. The rest of the food had tiny portions and tasted bland. Extremely expensive for what was delivered.

Absolutely terrible. They let me wait in the cold for 30min for take out; I asked for freshly-made sushi but came home to see that they had given me sushi that was sitting on the shelf all day (was very clear from the sogginess). One of the worst sushi i have ever eaten. Will never come back

First time, not disappointed. Pretty pricey but it's on the high street. Food was great, service was great, will return! Many thanks!
