Lovely Chinese takeaway, no complaints just had a great meal

Great place. One of the best Chinese takeaways I've had. £19 for two meals and a side. All containers were packed to the brim, big portions. Biggest bag of (free) prawn crackers I've ever been given at a takeaway too. Staff were nice and the food came out very quick. Delicious food. Chow mein shrimp noodles super tasty, lots of shrimp. Pork with water chestnuts had loads of meat and veggies. Lastly, spare ribs had a delicious, thick sauce with a unique flavour and plenty of meat on the ribs. I was so full from the noodles I've left half for later and will probably have to eat the ribs and crackers for breakfast!

Best Chinese I've had in years. Really nice brothy sauce with the pork and veg and lovely sticky ribs!

Just had a take away from this Chinese for the first time. It was absolutely amazing, Yummy house is right! Best squid i have had in a long time! Will definitely be ordering again.

One of the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had , £20 for £5 worth of meal. Fried rice was bland , hardly any meat in there. Sweet and sour chicken was way too sweet , almost like drinking syrup.

Meal was 45 mins after dispatch and 20 mins over estimated delivery despite me living just 4 mins away (according to Google maps).Customer service was non existant when I called after 30 minutes, I was told "its on its way" and had difficulty getting her to understand why I was calling!I received no real apology, simply the word "sorry" with no sentiment or feeling. She might as well have said "oh well, bad stuff happens".According to the delivery driver, the reason it was so long is he had to deliver yummy house direct orders over just eat orders - a policy the store did not disagree with.

Dreadful service. I ordered a take away for my grans birthday. The order was cancelled exactly when it was due to be delivered via Just eat. An alternative arrangements was attempted. However they *cannot* take card payments over the phone. Its 2021 - you can do better. The world is now cashless.

We used to order from The Yummy House years ago but hadn't for years (why?). We had a takeaway tonight and it was amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection - piping hot, tasty and so satisfyingly yummy! And the delivery girl arrived 6 pm on the dot (the time we chose). The Yummy House is still as good today as it always was! I just wished I'd tipped, I had paid by card so totally forgot when at the door (next time!). We all enjoyed every mouthful! Best Chinese around in Exeter. We ordered again tonight - October 16th - for my sons birthday . We had a large order for 4. Again, simply fantastic. Everything was delicious, hot and cooked to perfection. The duck is phenomenal! We have loads left over for tomorrow (eyes bigger than bellies). I originally booked online (with Justeat) for 19:00 but then we realised we would like it sooner. One quick call to Yummy House and order changed to 18:00. Exactly 18:00 on the dot a very happy smiley man arrived holding a big box! Always prompt and courteous delivery. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the dishes had. We also made sure we had cash for a tip this time! Thank you again Yummy House :)

Very yummy! (Had to put it in somewhere sorry!) This is hands down one of the best chinese takeaways I've ever had (could be biased since I'm lying on my sofa belly still swollen) really enjoyed it, cannot reccomend the king do spare ribs enough they're incredible! Staff were also very friendly and the food was hot, will definitely be back soon!

Simply one of the best Chinese takeaways anywhere in the UK. Sure the shop front is dated and puts you off entering. But you can hear the food being cooked once you order and the smell and ingredients used are all first rate, plenty of meat in the meat dishes and nice to see a Chinese takeaway actually using Chinese Veg in the dishes. Lots of really bad Chinese takeaways in Exeter, but this is not one of them. Well priced as well. House Special Chow Mein/Fried Rice, ribs, lemon chicken, shredded beef/chicken and Hong Kong style sweet & sour dishes are all superb.
