Akash in Forest of Dean

Great service and food was hot (temperature wise) as well as being nicely flavoured and not just spicy for the sake of it.

Quick, efficient and very nice waiter and the food, the best Indian in Cinderford hands down.

Rubbish! Chips were cold. Food that doesn’t contain meat was in the same containers as meat ones. Vegetarians should stay away. Other foods were mixed in with the chips. Totally disgusting.

My new favourite Indian restaurant. Food is of good quality and we'll packaged for take out. Staff are friendly and efficient.

First time we have had food from here and i was very very tasty, lovely flavours well rounded with fresh ingredients. Graet staff and also got a free calendar we will be getting our Indian form here from now on welldone for getting a new customer.

Normally this place is great but tonight they got it wrong. Leaving customers to wait up to 2 hrs past the time that they were told to come and collect their food. There were no updates or apologies. I hope the normal great service returns for the next time but this evening it was a complete shambles.

Well what can I say....We had a collection tonight after we normally go to a different curry house and after a disappointing experience last time we thought we would try the Akash.It was most definitely worth the switch. Our meals were deliciously tasty everything was perfectly cook and very flavoursom. Will definitely be trying this curry house again. Thanks Akash

We usually find Akash really good but tonight was our first treat since Xmas and we were really disappointed. Very salty popadums salty onion bhajis, very little flavour in the curry dishes and overall just very disappointing. Let's hope they can get back to their best soon. 😔

Visiting the forest of dean for a few days, fancied a takeaway, found akash! 4 delicious curries eaten, one happy family. Owner very friendly when we went to collect it. Peshwari naan was particularly nice, highly recommend

I have to agree with most other review's the food here is excellent. Flavours are great. The Tandoori chicken starter is something else. If you're visiting the Forest of Dean and fancy an Indian meal forget the others visit this establishment.
