I know you hear lots of people praising their local fish & chip shop but... Frydays is easily the best in the county and definitely on the shortlist as the best in the UK. Yes, they're really that good. My family have been eating from here for over twenty years and my sister drives up from Cornwall demanding fish and chips. If you don't believe me look at the queues that form for folk who want the best.

All things about what you expected from a fish and chips. I took large fish & chips, although I am big man, couldn't finish it.

Great fish and chip shop. Nice and hot when I went there it was fresh. Only downside "due to covid" service was a little slow but it was busy and seems popular. And have to say it was 100% worth the wait thanks for a great meal after work
