Food was OK but haveing a full breakfast and beeing charged for coffee is not a full breakfast to me most places I go you get a coffee included

We have eaten here as a family for years, it’s our favourite place to go in Coleford, they are a great family business. So welcoming, polite and give great customer service. The food and drinks are fantastic, food is amazing quality and our dad always says how they have the best coffee! Price is so affordable too, highly recommend!

Good sized portions, a price that you can't grumble about, friendly staff. Enjoyed the Turkish Omelette very much.

Came in with all the kids for a quick bite. Not my first time here, but the first time being seated upstairs; never knew that was there.Lovely, chatty server. Took drinks order, returned with drinks, and took food order.Ordered milkshakes all round as it had ice cream in too. We were all massively disappointed in the milkshakes! The strawberry milkshakes were clearly the liquid shake mix flavouring. The chocolate was nicer tasting but still not worthy of the price! £2.80 each 😳 there was no consistency change as expected with adding ice cream, so unsure there was even any in there or more than a single spoonful. So to start off, that was nearly £17 on milk 😭Kids' meals were tasty... pasta dishes got a big thumbs up from my kids, but the remaining meals were small breakfasts. Took our modifications to the breakfasts without fuss, which was ideal.The food that was presented wasn't the warmest and small in size was an exaggeration. Tiny breakfast more like! So, for over £53 for a family, I do feel robbed for what we all got. Three of us had a belly ache at home and a short spell on the loo. Being the first thing we had all eaten today... not sure what else could have caused that.I'm disappointed, really, as I have had a nice breakfast there a few times in the past. Not likely to come again, which is a shame.

If your are in Coleford and fancy something to eat, gives Kaplan's a try, staff are great and there's a good choice on the menu, try one of the breakfasts, you pick they won't disappoint. Or something simple like mushrooms on toast 😋

Favourite place for breakfast!

We had a lovely lunch here. Cafes are a no fuss place i enjoy going to where you know what you're getting. This place went over and above. The lady coordinating the staff was extremely good at it. Keeping the food flowing, the tables served, new customers seated and tables cleaned.
