Marvelous place, YOFI burgers are fantastic, fries are crispy and tasty, the Mrs has the lamb which I tried and it's was extremely good too, was almost jealous if my burger wasn't so good. The wait was not very long, service was great, the staff all check up on every table so there isn't a long wait for drinks or next courses. I also now want a stuffed ferret because of this place. The outdoor location is beautiful too, so all in all, do yourself a favour and go get some food and drink here!

What a grand reception as we arrived. They were happy to allow our dog In to the pub and seat us to eat on the stone area of the pub, which was perfect. The open fire was lit which gave out a cozy atmosphere. The recommended bitter was worth the gamble. Smooth and cold, just like it should be. ( Forgot the name )The food was absolutely wonderful. Everyone of us enjoyed every morsel. The Raspberry cheesecake was only a small portion but it was so good it was worth every penny. Our waitress was ever so lovely and took time to speak to each and everyone of us, which I found endearing, including Wolfy dog, and she got him a treat ( asked 1st )If you are visiting, like good food, great scenery and A*service then get down to this gaff. You will not be disappointed.See you next time guys. Keep up the good work and compliments to the chef 😁

Booked for my Dad's Birthday after a great day canoeing on the Wye. Inside was modern yet cosy. Ordered drinks and starters which were nice. The first red flag was a table next to us turned away some of their meals then walked out. Main came and our two steaks were cold. I would always much rather avoid conflict however it was stone cold. I asked my Dad to try his and he found the same. I mentioned this to a passing server and she said 'what do you want me to do about it'. I was then told that the chef would check if this is correct and was made to feel like I wasn't telling the truth. It came out again a little warmer but by this point I had lost my appetite. A lady who said she was the wedding coordinator came over and said for my Dad they would do him a new rare steak which was far more helpful, although he had to eat by which point everyone else at the table had finished. He did say it was nice in the end.On a separate note, I was really put off by the hygiene as many of the servers passed dogs giving them a stroke and letting them lick their hands as they walked in and out of the kitchen.Overall I was really disappointed and embarrassed, there are so many other lovely places to eat in this area so will be sticking to them next time!

We visited twice this week, once for lunch and then again for diner. I have to say I was very impressed with the food and the staff were great. The steak was perfect! If we lived closer. we'd be here every other week. Absolutely loved the coffee aswell. The setting is also great.

Lovely pub with incredible views. They make a big effort to source locally. The guy with glasses/long hair on the bar went out of his way to make us feel very welcome and he was very friendly. Would recommend

Great local food in Symonds Yat West close to the river Wye with great views from the side annex. Access was a little daunting down a steep narrow lane but worth the effort. The hosts were very friendly and there was also a good choice of beers and a variety of different wines. Prices were very reasonable. Had a great evening.

We went here for lunch. The location is superb. I don't think I've ever been to a pub with a better outlook. The food was superb. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The pub itself was very comfortable and well presented and above all very welcoming. We will definitely be returning.

We came here for the Sunday lunch today and it was absolutely delicious ! All the meat is sourced locally and everything was cooked to perfection. Haven’t had a tender lamb like this in a long time. Our waiter was also very attentive , professional and friendly. Nothing to fault here !We arrived around 12:20 which seems a good time , at 13:00 the car park was packed ! The prices are at the higher end , I believe the lamb dinner was 15,95 but it reflects in the high quality of the food.

Popped in with my family after a walk, booked a table for five, and were seated early. The table views across the river were absolutely lovely, and the ambience was relaxed and welcoming. We all had the burger and it was delicious! I can't fault the staff - we must have interacted with about 4 members of staff and each one was charming, professional, and friendly. Thank you for such a lovely experience - would definitely recommend and am sure we will return!
