Ruddy's in Forest of Dean

The fish was absoloutley gorgeous .. the chips were brilliant not greassy atall which i much prefer .. all in all everybodys food was fantastic ..

Food is reasonably priced and wait for food isn't long. Sausages both battered and plain are yummy! Curry sauce is good. Chips could be a bit crispier but overall decent grub!

'' Stay well clear '' Always very poor customer service in this place. Got home my fish was cold halfway through and taste awful. And the chips were hard. '' I shall not return ''As the service and the quality of the food has not changed in 16 month. Shame on you Ruddy Fish & Chips. How can you charge so much for your food when the quality and the service just isn't there. 🤬😢

Only been in here twice and was disappointed both times. Chips were hard & tasteless & the burger was way overcooked but stone cold! No idea how they managed to do that!? Will not be coming back again. & it's ridiculously over priced for the food their serving!

Above and beyond fish & chips. Been a long while since I've had fish & chips so good. Polite efficient staff.

Chips good portion, fish bit small but more fish than batter I was disappointed in the curry sauce it was not the traditional chip shop curry sauce very dark lumpy and spicy

Sublime. Perfect fish and chips. We had burger and chips and sausage and chips on our order. All were perfect with lovely crunchy batter and white flakey fish. Will definitely use this chip shop again.

I'll be honest with you on this 1..... The num nums are ok,the issue is how long things take. If you're in a rush and you turn up behind more than 2 people, you are gonna be waiting 10/15 minutes. Service is slower than Forrest Gump,.....when he's not running,of course.

Fish and chips spot on, really nice Curry sauce was awful though, not sure how you could get it this wrong😳

I have eaten at Ruddy’s fish bar many time over the three years that I have coming down here and I always find the fish fresh and the haddock is cooked to order. The cod is also good as they have such a turn over of cod all i kept hearing down to three Cod so the fryer puts more Cod on.
