Myself and my partner were extreamly disappointed by the service at what was once a welcoming cafe when we visited for a breakfast today. We arrived 2 minutes before advertised opening and found the door was open so we walked in. We stood for a minute before a member of staff came out of the kitchen and told us they had a busy day yesterday and there was no food cooked so we will have to wait. We asked how long roughly but she didn't tell us but sharply said we had let ourselves in when they were closed! The door was open for us to walk in. We said that was fine and did she want us to come back in 10 minutes, she said "No Sit down". We asked again how long it would be so we could decide whether to wait or not and her attitude was so poor and unwelcoming towards us that we left after overhearing her whisper and moan about us to another member of staff who had arrived at 09:07.Looking forward to the delicatessen to re-open! All we expect is friendly service in our local town. Shame.

Wonderful little quaint eatery with plenty of character. The food is delicious and well priced. Pete and Judith always make you feel welcome and provide a fantastic service. Love the place.

Went to this lovely tea room yesterday with my friend for lunch, had a lovely quiche with new potatoes, but the coffee was absolutely delicious. I must say it was the nicest cappuccino I have ever had out. Lovely friendly hosts. We will be back.

I would sugest that the tablets could be clean in a way to look clean and not sticky. May be is just me. And i didnt saw the waitresses wearing mask. Even in the Kitchen.
