PUB CLOSED DOWN - I live in Lydbrook and know that this pub has been closed for the past few months. I believe it is up for sale but no takers as yet. Lovely location so it would be good to have it open again. Pam

Whilst canoeing the wye, this was about half way along our 14 mile route. It was jam packed with other canoeists and kayakers. This was inside and outside too. The food and beer was ok and if you are paddling down the wye it's a good place for a break.
