Found it rather expensive for the meal we had to be honest, found the food lacking. Staff friendly and helpful though

Brilliant pub!!! We stayed here in our Classic Hymer motorhome having found it in BritStop. The landlord was super friendly and welcoming. The food was superb too - really good and varied menu. We woke up to a beautiful morning and had a lovely walk around the stunning village

Beautiful pub. Fantastic location. Friendly landlord and staff. Food was amazing and very well priced.Simply cant fault this place. It goes down as one of the best pubs we've ever been to.We had a great dinner and sat on cosy heated seats watching an open fire while the English weather did its thing outside. We're going to plan another trip to the Cotswolds simply so we can come back here!

Very pleasant pub in a lovely village. We stopped for lunch and the staff and food were great.

A great country pub with really friendly staff and excellent food. Not the warmest place if you're not near the open fire but a small price to pay..

Perfect for Sunday lunch. We booked 2 days in advance and could only get the 12:30 slot. The pub quickly filled up.Simple mostly traditional menu.We shared a baked Camembert in lieu of separate starters.Main courses are generous portions. I ate thick slices of roast pork with "the best crackling ever" according to my mum (an expert cook), crunchy roast potatoes, broccoli, green beans and sweet tasty carrots. Plenty of gravy but no apple sauce.Sister had roast beef with large Yorkshire pudding. We all polished everything off! πŸ˜‹For dessert, we had sticky toffee pudding, served with good quality vanilla ice cream. Blackberry and apple crumble looked good. A small jug of cream quickly appeared when we asked for it.Bottle of wine was on the expensive side at 24 quid.Efficient service. Will definitely be back.

Off on a country ramble, my husband and I came upon The Fox Inn in Broadwell. Yes, the sandwiches were made with white bread, but we found them delicious and satisfying. The local ale was also a hit.

Meh. Decent venue but service was bang average and so was the food.
