Lovely place. Excellent comfortable room. Good food and service.

Fab family room with huge bath, great pub too. WiFi very good so my son was happy although he did comment TV was too small! Would recommend, close to amenities and national diving centre

First time visiting the pub but will be back the food was amazing and freshly cooked. Great service. Thank you

Lovely, cosy pub. Food was excellent with a good choice. We also had breakfast, which again, had a good choice and was cooked Lovely. Nice bright breakfast room and good service. We stayed at the adjoining accommodation. The room was very clean, with a good size bathroom. The TV was very small, and normally this wouldn't bother us, but as the nights are now getting darker we retired earlier, so a bigger TV would have been a nice to have. The pub and accommodation are very dog friendly and there are plenty of walks within a short distance. The owner were lovely and really looked after us. We had a lovely few days.

Lovely atmosphere. Rooms excellent, plenty of space. Clean and plenty tea, coffee, biscuits along with large bottle of water. Landlord was very friendly and wicked sense of humour. I did not find him grumpy at all. He obviously has a lot to do with premises opposite each other. Most accommodating. Even switched coffee machine back on after having done Sunday lunches for 72 in order to provide us with filtered coffee. Would definitely visit again. Good food prepared freshly. Most enjoyable stay.

Stayed here for two nights while attending a friend's wedding. The room was big and clean, with a huge bed.We had breakfast one morning which was pretty good, maybe a 4/5 for the breakfast.Only complaint was that the shower was a bit naff, but the bed was so big a comfy it can be overlooked.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff and such yummy food! The menu was great as well and included a children's menu, vegan menu and gluten free menu. We really enjoyed our evening.
