The Pavilion in Forest of Dean

Wife and I had steak,well cooked and lovely meal. Will definitely eat there again,and a great selection off home make traditional food,and all there meats come from a butchers up the road.

There are only amazing words for this place, it's a absolute diamond of a place, the landlady in all the years of coming is just a beautiful friendly landlady, very welcoming and brill for dogs, been using this place for nearly 15 years, my pub of choice, wish I coukd pick it up and take it home, keep up the great work to all involved and the locals who are incredibly friendly x

This is a gem of a place we had a lovely meal in the restaurant, we arrived just as they were about to close the kitchen, but were very accommodating the food was fabulous and at reasonable prices, good well kept real. Thanks for the loan of your car park for the night. We will be back.

Very friendly and professional crew. Good honest food, excellently cooked and well served. Veggie and vegan options. Child friendly. Dogs allowed in the bar. A well kept pint. Highly impressed. Go there.

Great pub. Excellent food good beer, very friendly and a great location in the middle of the forest of dean. Will be back( Sunday actually!)

We ended up here unexpectedly after a few other places we had tried were not serving. We had wanted to try the restaurant for a while but hadn't found the right time to go, especially under the current circumstances. We were so glad the other places were closed, the food was really delicious. My partner and I both had burgers, I had the vegetarian option and he had the battered chicken burger. They were served quickly. The presentation was lovely. The batter on the burger and the onion rings was perfect. The staff were so lovely and attentive. It wasn't too busy which was nice, but for a Monday lunchtime there was certainly a good atmosphere. We highly recommend The Fountain and can't wait to go back.

Only been here once so far but will definitely be returning the food was excellent and very well priced for the lovely dinner we had all the girls working were excellent even with out little one…. If your in the forest I recommend a try even if its only for the light lunch bites

Family meal for fourteen on Sunday 28 November. Excellent meal and dessert and and first class service. Would highly recommend for a great Sunday roast in a lovely cosy surroundings.

Stayed for two nights had breakfast and dinner, food was fantastic.Room was comfy and had a good nights sleep.Service was top notch couldn't ask for anything better.Thank you for the stay, will be back.

Great service, good food!I had booked in advance as we were a party of 12 including 6 children. We had pre ordered our food choices. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food came out promptly and was really tasty. Portions of children's menu are very big. We're all really pleased, thank u.
