The Tea Room & The Fairview Gardener in Forest of Dean

An amazing garden centre and tea room. Walking around the plants is like walking around someone's own garden, it's a delight. We asked some questions of a lady tending the plants and her knowledge was incredible. A lovely afternoon wandering and bought many different things. The food in the tea room is exceptional and excellent quality

This is a review of coffee and cake in the cafe only.Rustic indoor seating that is quite nice. An outside covered area is not quite as nice.The staff were helpful and friendly. The service was quick. Coffee was quite nice but there was a limited range of cakes. My lemon cake was moist but lacked the tangy lemon flavor that I was hoping for; the icing was also a bit too sweet.Overall, not bad but not that special either. The price was reasonable though. Good place to go if you are at the garden centre but not worth a special journey.

Visited yesterday and it was a lovely experience. The garden centre was well stocked with numerous plants with lots of variety all nicely laid out. They were labelled and the price clearly shown. After all that shopping we stayed for something to eat in the tea rooms and were not disappointed. The staff in the garden centre and the tea room were lovely and very welcoming making it a really nice experience.

Good plants, but a little pricey for me.Didn't try the cafe, but will next time.I have been back, found the plant I was looking for, and had lunch in the dog-friendly cafe. Good food, fast service.Had exactly the slate pieces I needed today.

Wonderful garden centre with absolutely amazing range of plants. Can't resist picking up lots of good stuff while there. Lovely staff, lots of space, a wonderful range of items :) my stash from last visit!

The Tea Room have amazing cakes, proper-sized pots of tea and lovely staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon there. There is also an excellent inspirational selection of plants at very good prices. Would highly recommend a visit.

Just been for afternoon tea, excellent value for money, really lovely staff. Unlimited tea and unlimited clotted cream, plus two scones each. Brought home more than we ate.Have previously been for morning coffee and lunch, always good value. All cakes made by owners.Highly recommended. Quite small so make sure you book.

Wow!! What a gorgeous cafe at this lovely garden centre. Fabulous food and such lovely staff. Found the garden centre by accident whilst touring in the area. Wonderful plants too.

Visited here for the first time a few weeks ago and found a lovely plant for a good price. The lady at the till gave me a heads up it will need a lot of water too which was kind and appreciated

An absolute gem of a garden centre! Best we've been to for a very long time. Fabulous choice of plants and great advice and assistance from friendly staff. Great parking. The shop is a delight and the cafe is the same. Our dog was welcome too. We will be going again for sure. Don't miss it!
