Great fish and shops, eaten just down the road at the riverbank picnic site.

I spent very hard earned money in your establishment, I paid for something I did not get and instead of apologising, you not only lied to me that I wasn’t even charged for it, but you were also been nothing but rude to me.The no.1 priority of any business is customer service because without customers you have no business!

Not been to this fish and chip shop for a while so here is my experience of todays visit.Very Very poor to say the least.I ordered cod and chips and a pie and chips the chips were reheated from probably lunchtime left overs they were dry and lifeless but to be fair the fish was ok not the best I’ve ever had but fair. Also he said he don’t take the card anymore only cash which I don’t do at the moment due to I don’t want other peoples money back in charge in my pocket with covid still around. So there you are folks my view on what is said to be the best fish and chip. “I don’t think so”👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

Brilliant service, food is good. Hot and tasty. Children can have a free lollipop if they want

·

Good range of menu items, reasonably priced. Clean and tidy with helpful staff. Note it's now cash only.

·

One of the best takeaways in the forest. Lovely staff, great food at a decent price. Can't go wrong

·

Best chips ever , crispy , light & flavoursome, all cooked fresh, very friendly staff. Well worth a try

Nearly didn't go in as notice says cash only. They take card but pretend not to. Food was good but I'm confused as to why they are happy to lose business by saying cash only. It's only because I asked where nearest cash machine was that I got served.

A very clean and friendly fish and chip shop, offering the usual selection of foods you would expect from such an establishment. Prices were reasonable and they offered decent portion size servings. The fish was coated in a light and crispy batter and the chips were not too greasy, just as you would expect from a quality fish and chip shop like this.Would definitely visit again when in the area.

We were recommended to try here from where we were staying at a B&B,it was only a few minutes walk away which was handy. We both had cod and chips which was lovely, good portion size,we also had garlic bread, which wasn't so good, bit soft and was stuck to the paper in the carton!service was prompt and best of all was they accepted tastecard so it made the bill cheaper. We would definitely go back.
