Google maps said this place was "not too busy". Called in around 12:30 on a Monday.Not at all surprised. Place was more or less empty, yet service was at a snails pace. How long does it take to make a sandwich and a salad? Some of the items on the menu were unavailable due to late delivery. The avocado in the avocado sandwiches was hard and unripe. Food in general over priced, lacklustre and uninteresting. Given 2 stars as at least the staff were polite. A place to avoid.

I was totally ignored on a very quiet Sunday lunchtime by whom I presume was the manager and I waited for about 10 mins before being served. The lager, apart from being lifeless , had no taste whatsoever and was, in my opinion , way overpriced for the quality being served.

Stumbled upon this lovely place having a wander through the town....Wasn't expecting a table in the restaurant as we were a walk in on valentines eve. We didnt have a booking, however the lovely waitress was able to organise a table for us complete with Rose petals and flowers . Table service was excellent served by a lovely man with impeccable manners. The food was outstanding best lamb curry I have had anywhere. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area ......highly recommended. And thank you⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Me and my husband ate there last evening.From entering the Pub to leaving we enjoyed it. Our meal was excellent as was the service. The young lady in the resturant was so good, not only with us but other customers. She was on her own serving,taking orders and payments. She was also friendly welcoming and polite.

We go here now once a week for food, Their steaks are amazing and having only just got into steak it's really nice to be able to enjoy, Went last night they managed to get us in as were busy, I had a pie for a change and was really nice, The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is really nice, Definitely recommend

I have been here a few times since I moved to Gloucester and the restrictions were lifted and I have not had a bad night yet. Good atmosphere with some decent music and a good range of drinks too. Very handy late bar at the weekend which is a huge plus for an old guy like me that can’t go to nightclubs anymore.

We found this pub by walking through a church graveyard! Perfect scenery and spooky if that's what you're into!Lovely staff, very friendly. A variety of drinks and not expensive. We have come back twice in two days and plan to eat here soon! It's a must see
