Pop into England's Glory on Saturday night, friendly staff lovely cosy atmosphere with the log fire going.

We had a fantastic time at England's Glory. Paula was brilliant, they were so accommodating, brought us our drinks to out table, and generally made us feel so welcome. We joined the quiz on whim with the staple legends of the area and had a whale of a time. If you get a chance to pop by here, you won't be disappointed.

Much improved, food looks tasty, alcohol a bit on the expensive side but atmosphere good now. Lots of people at quiz the other night. I'm really glad it's doing well, we didn't want to lose another pub in that area. One negative....sofa's stink of dog 🐕 Maybe the throw should come off at opening time. 😊

Food is incredible and gnwy went above and beyond for my birthday. They got flowers and decorated the table. Amazing staff and really intentive. Big portions so go with an appetite.

Old fashioned style pub,recent new management, whom are much improved from the people that were there the last time I called in.I stopped off to see an old friend of mine and was pleasantly greeted by the bar staff.usual supply of mainstream products and do filled rolls at a reasonable price and very tasty too.I understand from friends whom have started eating here regularly that they do traditional old pub classics, along with a praised Sunday roast.not a lot of choice ,but all done well at reasonable prices. Not a pretentious gastro pub,and all the better for it.It has a garden area ,fenced off from a good sized car park,pleasant in the better weather,and the pub is dog friendly with water bowls etc.I shall be using this place more often,this place deserves to get busier,and do try if you like an old fashioned pub that's friendly, clean without blaring music ,decent food all served by nice people.
