Very nice place food excellent,home cooked what more could you ask for

This place is a gem and I'm never disappointed. Delicious fresh food and bakes with a great feel. It's a little ways away from the hustle and bustle, but very close to the Cathedral and other great sights.

A little gem, opposite the Shire Hall. Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea, served by very friendly staff, comprising of a selection of freshly made sandwiches, three types of cake, scones, jam and clotted cream, all washed down with nice cuppa. We were stuffed, but enjoyed every mouthful!

Always rely on this place to make a fab sandwich for lunch on the go and good prices. Convenient city centre location.

We have just walked out of this place after paying for two coffees. My husband then asked for two breakfast, which the old waitress came back with I have to prep firs, my husband ask how long she said I also have to clean up for I can start cooking your vreakfast. It seemed we were an inconvenience to her routine morning making bread. Coffee wasn't good either. But found this beautiful cafe called peppers up the street to the right lane

Visited this cafe today and received awful service! Everything was clearly an inconvenience for the woman serving us. The one star is the lowest you can give unfortunately!We were made to feel difficult for needing to use the high chair and move around the chairs.I ordered a Pumpkin Spiced Latte, when my sister went to the counter next to order the same drink she had removed the board to ‘put the price up!!’Another lady in our party went to pay with a £20 note and was chastised for not having smaller change as they are a ‘small business and don’t carry change’We would of left if we could but unfortunately after paying we needed to stay for the tasteless tea, coffees and cake!

Bread wasnt fresh, miserable staff, balancing act on the dirty table which wouldnt stay still no matter how many times you moved it. Expensive for what it was, save your money go elsewhere.

We had afternoon tea there today. The staff were lovely and the cakes, scones and tea were fresh and delicious. They even offered our little girl a free sandwich, which was beautifully fresh and she ate it all (normally a fussy eater). First rate!!

Great little Coffee shop. They also have something to eat from just a snack like quiche or pasta or pizza to a savoury apple strudel. Good value for your money and good atmosphere.
