Lovely food, was just enough for our wake.

Lovely Sunday lunch, everything was lovely and it is well worth paying extra for the cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets, although you can share the pigs in blankets between 2 as they are a very generous portion. The waiting staff were also great, helpful and polite. The 5 of us were very pleased and will definitely return.

A lively pub, a 1st time visit, food was good. Had the sweet chilli noodles and added a chicken breast for an extra £2, which was lovely. My husband had the mushroom and bacon carbonara and added a chicken breast also. The only criticism on his was there could have been a bit more sauce as it was slightly dry. Service was good. Will definitely go back again.

Atmosphere was ok if don't mind being loud workmen, Staff were nice and friendly, But the food was disgusting, My steak was asked medium to well but when it came was bleeding, Got sent back for another one, The waitress bought the steak sauce, The steak came back same one and cooked it one end, The chips were cold, Wouldn't recommend at all

Reasonable food and prompt service. Cozy coal fire and a relaxing atmosphere mostly. Bar staff unfamiliar with the range of drinks and unable to advise or recommend anything, but overall a nice evening out.

Great pub, friendly staff, easy parking. A great meal. Found a new goto place in Gloucester. Only issue is that it's so dark that you can't read the menus.

Not been in for a couple of years. Met the new landlord and enjoyed the recent new look of the refurb. The governor offered me flights of the 4 bitters, I tried & enjoyed all. Then my family ate. I had the bream fish with baby new potatoes. Others had fish & chips, also lasagne. It was all good & reasonable value.
