Pike & Musket in Gloucester

The sirloin steak was very tuff and cold mushroom was cold. Sent it back only to be offered a free drink or pudding. Place was freezing spoilt my daughters birthday meal i wasn't the only person sending cold food back i might add very poor quality

Had a lovely meal there last evening with my wife, good value food was really nice (large portion) nice staff very helpful. Excellent selections of beers and wines. It was the first visit for a long while due to covid .

Myself and partner went to the Pike & Musket Friday evening on the 25th February 22.Firstly many items from the menu were not available.I ordered a Tandoori Chicken Stack and Hunters Chicken at 19.18 pm. The food did not come to us until 9 pm, nearly 2 hrs and then both meals were cold, In a Tandoori Stack you are suppose to get two Chicken breasts but only got one. There was also only a dozen sweet potato fries.The Grill was down last week so we went to the Turmet Hoer and the food was amazing. Can’t believe after seeing the meals it could be the same menu ?

Very long wait for food and second round of drinks to arrive - what looked like only two staff working the whole place especially on a Saturday. However food and drinks were very tasty and enjoyable and staff are very nice/helpful.

Friendly staff and a good food menu, but I was served a rather burnt fish and wasn't able to get it replaced with the same dish as they had turned the fryer off. Disappointed, but the rest of the groups food was fine.

Always a good meal here, friendly staff too. Did take a long time for our meal but they were short staffed so understandable.

Excellent food and service though felt a bit short staffed tonight. Would recommend.

Apart from not telling us we had to tell them when we wanted our desserts and sat waiting for half an hour before we chased them up , then then being told at just gone ten ( on a Saturday) they were shutting up and we had to go ( we would have been done had the puddings not taken an hour ) , the food was pretty nice and the service was good. A few items missing off of the mixed grills (black puddings) , bit the rest was ok.

Lovely evening, thanks for accommodating us. Came back for a second visit in the evening as they were showing the rugby. Great atmosphere, will be back.
