Pizza Express in Gloucester

Fabulous meal and friendly and attentive service. This is my elderly mother-in-law's favourite place and she always enjoys her lasagne. Followed by a pudding of course!

SLOW SLOW SLOW SLOW SLOW. How can it take soooooooooo long to make 2 pizzas when they are only at about 25% capacity? Food fine, staff OK but wait was unbelievable. Zizzi opposite are much more efficient (and no- I don't work for Zizzi).

FOH was very polite and attentive. They were happy to help and were down for a laugh. The food was delicious and well cooked. Tables and decor clean. Food came quickly and queue from outside went fast. You can see the kitchen from all the tables the BOH was working hard.In conclusion i think pizza express was very impressive and i will definitely come again.

First and foremost, it is alarming that the front of house staff did not ask for allergies - neither before seating, nor before/during taking our order. Both of us have allergies, and working in hospitality myself, I know that it does not fall on the customer to inform. Rather the responsibility falls on staff to ask.Staff conduct was appalling - BOH seems to forget that the kitchen is open and viewable by the diners, and to see staff flicking water and food at each other, while swearing, only makes the restaurant look unprofessional. FOH unapologetic in making us wait 10 minutes at the front door, greeted us with a sigh, did not ask if we had booked, and frankly didn't seem like they wanted to be there.Overall, experience was an unpleasant one, and it is safe to say that we won't be coming back.

Hi, I have been served with my family today, it took 45 minutes and I still have not been served. We order two pizzas and two small for kids. Restaurant is not even half full. Just wasting my time. Kids are getting crazy... Horrible situation.

Went to pizza express Gloucester Quays, had a waiter who seemed to be new who was doing a great job balancing tasks and attended to our table well. The food was spot on this partnered with a really friendly bloke called ‘George’ made the evening amazing.

Went with my son today. We were visiting from South Wales.Our waitress name was Ellie. She was absolutely amazing. Went out of her way to make sure my son had the pizza he wanted. Sat down with him taking time with him until he decided what he wanted.Brought out a vegan menu for me. Was kind and so polite. Fabulous experience. Thank you

We’ve just been to the Pizza Express at Gloucester keys. Charlie our waiter was an absolute legend. Made the experience even better than it normally is and was really friendly and happy to chat and have a laugh. We didn’t get the managers name or any of the other guys but we had a great time and they were all really lovely. We were greeted with a massive smile and friendly service and our food came super fast. Couldn’t recommend the service more. 10/10 😊 best pizza express we’ve been to and you should all get a pay rise 🤙🏻

Several days into quarantine and low on food, deliveroo'd this 'Sloppy vegan' pizza which looked zero like the menu photo, tasted of nothing, didn't seem entirely cooked, was cold (the only understandable thing) and was all around very disappointing when you have nothing else. Partners 'vegan funghi di bosco was marginally better. If I was in the restaurant, I'm not sure this would have even been served. The frozen pizza we had a few days later was much better sadly

A great meal out. Attentive staff. Swift service. Really tasty pizza and pud! Top marks!
