Portivo Lounge Gloucester in Gloucester

We have spent all Saturday afternoon and evening in here for a Birthday Celebration with drinks and meals. 10 of us. We had no problem getting tables joined and seats for us all (as they do not do table bookings) the staff were helpful & polite. Nice place, we will deffinately return. .

Dropped by for a Sunday morning brunch on the way through Gloucester as it was a dog friendly place and it was awesome. Really nice staff, great food, cool decor and really really dog friendly…one of the guys working there even came over and bought us a bowl of water for them under the table! So nice to have this type of genuinely thoughtful service. Big big thanks guys, you made our Sunday, keep up the good work. A well deserved 5 stars.

I normally love a trip to Portivo, food has always been good and so have the drinks.Lately though I have found their evening service is really poor. During the day the staff appear to want you there and are very welcoming. However when I have gone in the evening I have felt like it's an effort for them to give us a table even when there are empty tables downstairs, service is also a lot slower. On one occasion we went out with 2 other couples and rather than put 2 tables together we were asked to sit on separate tables, yet another group walked in after us and tables were put together. (They were seated by a different person)There aren't many "decent" places to go out in Gloucester anymore and portivo was always one of my go to places but after the last couple of experiences I don't think it will be.

Had lunch for two and was soooo good, we ordered tapas, which was so tasty will definitely go back

We had a fantastic meal here.The staff were polite and welcoming, the food was perfect(we had tapas)No need to book,just turn up.You can order in your phone or go to the bar and order.

Rare date night with hubby. Very busy in most places so ended up at Portivo. Luckily it was early so this place was quiet.Had the Tapas each. Surprised as hubby never eats that type of food.I had hot wings, guacamole, chicken tortilla.Hubby had the squid, meatballs & tortilla too.Such nice bread along side. It was great. Again. My 2nd time having them and didn't fail to enjoy them.Low score as ordered cocktails too and arrived after reminding them. Giving me 10 mins to neck it before our film started.

Relaxed dog friendly cafe/restaurant with option of ordering online for delivery to your table. We only tried their tea cakes, tea/coffee and cocktails but everything was nice and service was friendly & efficient. Tables were well spaced out (both indoors and out), would visit here again when in Gloucester.

Great quality food packed full of flavour. We went at lunch and service was quick and helpful. Prices are good value and the layout is lovely, upstairs you can sit near some open french windows and look out on the people visiting the quays.I have also heard evening tapas is to die for so will be back soon!

Went here for breakfast on a first morning in Gloucester, we were there as soon as they opened, (we tried not to look too eager but we were starving)Was 'freedom day' when we went so we were unsure whether we still had to wear masks or not, the staff weren't wearing them but made us feel comfortable by letting us know if we didn't have too if we didn't want, they kept their distance, were still santising their hands and keeping the place clean and tidy.We ordered through the app by scanning the qr code on the table.The decor is eclectic and quirky.First time we went we ordered pancakes, bacon sandwich and the vegetarian breakfast.Second time we went we ordered pancakes bacon sandwich again and the spinach, feta and chorizo shakshuka.Both times the food was hot, delicious and fast to the table.They can be quite busy, but it's a lovely place to pop in and grab some food, they're also dog friendly.

Really dog friendly and helpful staff unlike weatherspoons next door. We had the lounge breakfast this morning. Great value and delicious.
