Queens are my 'go to' chip shop in Gloucester. Their service is efficient and the quality is high. Great service everytime. I highly recommend.

I'm walked into a clean, light and friendly atmosphere and was greeted straight away by the server. She was enthusiastic about her products and I ordered popcorn chicken and chips. After a short wait while it was freshly cooked, I received a decent portion of chips and chicken.I wasn't disappointed, the chips were dry and not greasy, a good size and nice tasting potato. The popcorn chicken was tasty bite sized piece of chicken in a lightly spiced batter with an option of a dipping sauce (which I didn't try). It was a warming filling meal and I would definitely recommend the Queen's fish and chip shop and look forward to another visit.

The fish and chips were great, the staff were brilliant. I asked for tons of vinegar, and I got it too. 😂I saw the veterans discount just after I paid, and the owner offered me the discount as a return.As I say the staff were great.Will definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

Finally! A proper fish and chip shop...... chips with colour and crispy outside with a soft middle, all other chippies we have tried locally serve up pale, floppy rubbish. Eating this food reminded me of buying and eating chips some 30 odd years ago as a kid, a decent portion size with the scrumps too (my favourite part) medium chips was more than enough for 1 and the fish cake and pie were very nice too, also we ordered through just eat and it was still piping hot when it arrived. We will defo be using Queens again, it came highly recommended by friends which is why we tried it and we were not disappointed!

Really nice food ordered for delivery. My wife had small cod and chips with with side of mushy peas. I had the mixed meat in naan with chilli sauce and no salad, which is great for £7.

Great to see all the people who came in after you get there's .then to see your food been ready for 15 minutes and cold when you get it 😋 then to find things missing 😡very disappointed gone down hill ...won't be back until I hear good things again 😌 think it might be a while ..probably when the staff stop talking and serv the food would be good 👍

I visited Queens Fish and Chip Shop for the first time recently, and was extremely impressed with the service and quality of food! I had previously used another well known Fish and Chip Shop in Hucclecote, but have been disappointed by the quality of their chips for a while now, so tried Queens on a friend's recommendation, and they were very, very good! I would highly recommend this Chip Shop to anyone looking to buy first class Fish and Chips!

Not too busy on a Sunday evening.The service was delivered in about 10-15 mins wait.There are restrictions in dining due to covid however takeaways are open.The (large) quantity of chips was too filling for 2. Also, it seemed a bit cheaper though.However, the taste wasn't as great as Papa's fish and chips, but was okay to satisfy my one time hunger. The curry sauce seemed quite salty, couldn't enjoy eating this much.
