Ruddy's Fish & Chips in Gloucester

Ruddy's, what a Ruddy good chip shop! Chips were perfect and just how I like them, juicy and not hard, dry and crispy like a lot of other chip shops. The sausage was very nice and the gravy was spot on. What a brilliant find and I definitely recommend 💯👍🏻

Stopped on way home for fish and chips, chips were delicious 😋 fish was nice, batter was nice and crispy on one side but a bit soggy on other. When sat under the heat needs to be flipped over now and then to keep it crispy all over, I would give 8.5 for chips and 7 for the fish 😀

Excellent fish and chips the staff were friendly. A good stop off on our bikes.

Won't get better haddock and chips anywhere. Will definitely pay Ruddy's a visit next time I cross the border.

The fish was absoloutley gorgeous .. the chips were brilliant not greassy atall which i much prefer .. all in all everybodys food was fantastic ..

Food is reasonably priced and wait for food isn't long.Sausages both battered and plain are yummy! Curry sauce is good. Chips could be a bit crispier but overall decent grub!

Only been in here twice and was disappointed both times. Chips were hard & tasteless & the burger was way overcooked but stone cold! No idea how they managed to do that!? Will not be coming back again. & it's ridiculously over priced for the food their serving!

Sublime. Perfect fish and chips. We had burger and chips and sausage and chips on our order. All were perfect with lovely crunchy batter and white flakey fish. Will definitely use this chip shop again.

I have eaten at Ruddy’s fish bar many time over the three years that I have coming down here and I always find the fish fresh and the haddock is cooked to order. The cod is also good as they have such a turn over of cod all i kept hearing down to three Cod so the fryer puts more Cod on.
