Shanghai Restaurant in Gloucester

First visit for us to celebrate a 60th Birthday with 50 people. I have to say that the food was amazing, the staff were incredible and that genuinely takes some doing for such a large group. Credit to you all and thank You for an incredible experience x

Looked after our Youth Group very well. Made us very welcome. Everyone (43 of us) enjoyed the food and dining experience. Warm and friendly staff. Thank you

Food was really nice couldn't fault it not overly sized portions but the staff was quite unsure what they was doing they forgot a few things from our order then we have to wait for them to come separately other than that pretty good

Food is always good, service is excellent, I often visit this restaurant with family, love it ❤😋😊

Absolutely great service and the tastiest food, I think we had a lady called Donya serving us. Needless to say she was very accommodating and made our experience a complete pleasure. Thank you guys!

Tonight 15/12/2021 I celebrated my birthday with my family at shanghai, its the first time we have been and wow we were blown away by the excellent customer service, I'd like to thank Andy for waiting on us, the food was delicious, every dish was hot and fresh and full of flavour and they even accommodated my sons strange request for lemons which he enjoyed eating. I'd also like to thank you for giving us a little discount for my birthday that was a really nice touch and very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning

Food was tasty, a little pricey and some dishes weren't cooked well. Recommendations would be to have 23 and 102. Portions are much smaller so you can try multiple dishes but makes it hard if you prefer more of one dish. Just order two.

Had a birthday celebration meal with family last night. Plenty of parking spaces out back, Covid aware and safe. Staff were just excellent all round, gave us time to choose, discuss, laugh and eat before approaching us. Gave me a bottle of wine as a birthday gift and sorted my birthday cake with ice cream for all to finish... Food was prompt, piping hot, well presented and tasted just lovely so thank you to all at Shanghai you made our family get together and my birthday a happy memory, we shall be back... Best wishes to all there...

Sorry to say was expecting great things after hearing it was very good, but sadly not .For starters the waiter who was lovely but unfortunately didn't have a clue as to what the dishes were he was bringing at all !! Bad training on the restaurants part !! Only some dishes brought out on main while waiting for others to come they got cold while I appreciate they were busy just say a delay as a table if 10 with two birthdays on it one being a 40th we really wouldn't have minded. And the ladies toilets well definitely need a overhaul shall we we say .....

We went to Shanghai to celebrate a birthday, one of our party is a wheelchair user; access was brilliant, table heights were perfect and staff were able to accommodate their needs without issue. The food was delicious and fresh with well managed portions and a great variety of options. The staff were friendly and attentive and made use feel really welcomed. t
