Sizzling Pub in Gloucester

Food was really good. The only complaint was that the dessert took 40 mins to arrive otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Went in for a meal on a Weds night. Plenty of empty tables, but alot of them reserved, so had to wander to find a seat.Service at the bar was fine... Fairly friendly and prompt. Food arrived fairly quickly and was nice enough.Struggled to find cutlery (baskets empty) and sauces (apparently it depends which station you go to). Also, seemed to manage to keep finding a failing floorboard in the middle of the area toward the front of the pub, which one of our party almost tripped on.All in all, it was a nice enough experience.

Myself and my wife had a Sunday roast at the sizzler hucclecote this Sunday I had a half chicken roast and my wife had pork .just to say it was not good. on that day we only had that meal .through Sunday night and Monday morning we were both very ill .back and forward to the toilet all night.

After over an hour wait (remembering we booked) the food was disappointing. The sirloin steak was fatty throughout, items were missing from dishes and the Manageress argumentative. The customer service is non existent. We will never return!

Had dinner with the Mrs. Lunch was OK I had a stacked cheesy burger chips. garlic bread with cheese and she had a surf n turf. Garlic bread was a little over done and was sliced cheese still tasted good looked awful tho. Steak was spot and so was burger.

Disappointed by the Christmas meal we paid for a premium for. Had to ask for the Yorkshire Pudding, to go with our turkey, at first was told was only served with the beef option which did not make sense. Gravy was already poured all over the turkey, which my daughter does not like. Also no sauces offered such as cranberry sauce. Was not worth the money at all.

We visited a few days ago and continue to be impressed. This is our local so been here a few times and do come frequently in big groups. Very good service quick to clear tables. Food was very nice from starter through to pudding no complaints, Everyone was happy with what they ate. We sat in the nice part of the pub which was nice and quiet. Reasonably priced and will continue to keep coming by here.

This chain of pubs is obviously called 'Sizzler' for good reason. Ordered a lasagne that came looking like it had been cooked to within an inch of its existence. The lasagne came to about one third of the way up the bowl and was cremated, with burnt-on remnants around the edge... shame, as what was left after removing the burnt bits was quite tasty.Still, there was always a chance to be cheered up by stuffing my face with a big Milky Bar and rasberry sundae for dessert... until that turned up in a glass that had obviously just been pulled straight out of the dishwasher as it was hot... not warm... hot! and so contained some warm, milky slush, with a whipped cream topping. Really? When you were preparing that you didn't think about what that might turn out like?!Two stars given but only because the staff were very polite and helpful when I finally moaned re the sundae.Don't think I'll be rushing back, though.
