Great food as always and service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble. Not too formal but really lovely atmosphere. Even got a Christmas gift from them.

Another visit, another excellent meal. A varied menu cooked very well and served with a good portion size. Always a pleasure to visit.

I've never had a bad meal at the Spice House in Barnwood, Gloucester and the service is always very personal & excellent. It's not licensed to sell alcohol so drinks are provided by the adjacent club, with prices very reasonable at just £3.50 for a pint of Coors. The food is very good and the owner is particularly knowledgeable about allergies, particularly nuts, getting pure almond powder, rather than cheaper versions which have a blend of almond and other nuts, meaning that it is no good for allergy sufferers. The lamb shaslik is always my favourite with either a keema nan or a tikka nan. The tables are well spaced out, so it's not cramped and you're not sat right on top of each other.Another nice meal 😋 👌 Thank you.

Food was okay. Not so great. Chicked smelled charcaol came on a sizzler plate tasted okay. Biryani which I craved for is a big disaster. Little dissappointed.

We visited for a meal at 5.30pm. We were the only guests at that time but they were doing quite a number of takeaways. We had poppadoms, onion bhaji, samosas, chicken bhuna, rice and naan. All the food was well presented, hot and tasty. They do not serve drinks (except water) until 6.00pm. They share the premises with a club and the drinks come from their bar. We had read some very good reviews and some not good but we enjoyed our meal.

Dined here a few days ago, was very impressed by their service. Tried the King Prawn on Purée and Naga Lamb Tikka Masala with rice and tasted amazing and was rich in flavour.

Very good quality Indian, ordered a takeaway and it arrived earlier than the hour they predicted. Food was hot and very tasty. Prices were also fair aswell, the nann bread in the photo below was not theirs.

Hands down best butter chicken and keema naan I have ever tasted. Didn’t think I would ever find one better than the one in Liverpool o always go to but these did it!Gloucester you are lucky to have this place treasure it dearly.
