Quirky place with local beers and a unusual range of gins, rums and whiskeys. Not much room and prices are on the medium to high end. Great staff though.

Was supposed to go here for a Gatsby party for New Year 2022. First it was tickets, then it wasn't so got a refund. We still booked a table for 7pm for food and drinks and told it was still a Gatsby party. I spent £100 on a dress and accessories for the party. Got there for 7pm expecting to sit down and eat. The DJ had turned up late so I had to sit outside in the cold for 30min waiting to get in. We were not allowed in while he was setting up.When we arrived there was no food at all. We where told it is no longer being served. Hardly anyone was dressed up so we left to find food but could not get in anywhere as it was pre book. So all in all, I spent a lot of money on an outfit that wasn't necessary for a party that didn't happen, had the embarasment and uncomfortable arrangement of sitting outside waiting for the venue to open. To then find out they were not serving food after we had booked. We left hungry and disappointed in this whole ordeal. I WONT BE RETURNING.....WHAT A JOKE!.

Went here with a large group on a Saturday night. We were given a perfect table in the corner, and really attentive service kept the booze coming. The bar staff were excellent.Plenty of selection of spirits (lots of rum), but also a great choice of cask ales and keg beer. Really impressed. Not likely to be back in the area myself, but would recommend.

For beer lovers. Great selection of beers most of them brewed by the Gloucester brewery. The Gloucester gold on cask is a superb old fashioned session ale. The atmosphere in the bar is lively but subdued perfect for an old geezer and his wife. They have a good selection of gins. My wife enjoyed the chardonnay. Definitely going back whenever we're in Gloucester

5 stars for it’s service, atmosphere & nice choice of cask & keg beers. Just enjoyed this great place as i was visiting this area. Attentive staff, like both of them for their customer service. Great beers offered at small prices comparison to London 😜 as well as spirits n tasty food on offer too. Situated at brilliant place just next to dock with lovely views of both sides. Oh don’t wanna forget love rusty high chairs 😄.

Came here numerous times and loved it!The staff were absolutely fantastic, welcoming and very friendly.A big shout out and huge thank you to you all...Nick (a real legend),Connor (manager..nudge nudge, wink, wink...say no more 🤫😉),Millie, Bailey, Louisa and Jovan (this fragrance is named after you "Jovan Musk for Men"..a real classic, try it).You are all stars and your boss/the owner has some real gems of people in all of you, well done all...!! 👊👏👏What a fantastic place and their burgers and pizzas looked so delicious too.Maybe next time we'll pop over for a lunch or dinner and have one of these....I guess the staff got to know me after a few visits and even took my better half for a wee Rhubarb and Ginger gin which she absolutely loved! (All these gins are made at their Gloucester Brewery and Gin Distillery)What great real ales and first proper cask ales I've had in a very long time.Their Gloucester Brewery and Fox Gin distillery is a short walk away over the bridge on the other side of the docks basin. Definitely worth a visit as you can buy all the ales or gin at the Brewery shop. (A visit to here is a must!)The only other inhouse and onsite Brewery I know of is in Market Drayton, Shropshire.I had the Cascade Red ale which was great and fresh:Gloucester Brewery – Cascade – 4.2% – RedBold aroma of spicy & floral hops over a perfectly balanced biscuit malt baseBut my absolute favourite is the Dockside Dark Porter!!Gloucester Brewery - Dockside Dark – 5.2% – PorterVelvety smooth and subtly sweet award-winning porter with a gorgeous aroma of coffee, chocolate and dark fruits.I highly recommend this pub, restaurant, Brewery....the decor throughout is stunning and so vibrant and with it, no stuffy or dated decor here at all...Thanks to YOU ALL for making us and me especially feel totally welcomed and so at home...Amazing place, amazing staff and amazing perfectly kept and chilled real cask ales, great Gins and delicious food..!!! 👍👊

Poor service, plates left at tables for ages after customers had left, seagulls swarming and eating the food from the tables! We arrived for 2.30pm, went in and asked if they were serving food, they said yes and told to take some menus and just scan the self service app on the table, we sat at a table outside (as were all the customers as it was a lovely day) and tried to use the app as we had been told but it was only showing drinks and no food. It took over 20 minutes to get two gin and tonics, we then asked if we could order some food with the waitress who brought the drinks as we were unable to on the app, she said yes we don't have food on the app and the kitchen closes at 3pm, it's nearly 3pm now so you won't be able to order food sorry. The girls working there seemed to spend more time chatting amongst themselves at the bar inside rather than serving any customers, if I were the owner of this establishment with huge potential, I would get new staff in, they might look pretty but they do a rubbish job! What they look like isn't the most important, clearly good hygiene and a reasonably professional appearance should be important, but not if they can fit in a belt and call it a skirt 🤦‍♀️ Anyway, thanks for the ridiculously overpriced very standard gin and tonic, that's the most expensive piece of cucumber in a glass I've ever had.

Amazing place for an afternoon drink or a get together with family and friends. I felt very Covid safe while there. Friendly staff. Tank sells Gloucester Brewery products. The seating area outside is a real sun trap in the afternoon. Highly recommended

Amazing beer and cocktails, excellent service and a lovely place to sit. We had food as well which was lovely. If you can get a seat outside and watch the world go by.
