Food was awful, The owner tried to charge me 3 pounds for poppadoms when he already said they would come with the food. The food was bland and had no effort put into it. The food looks nothing how it is meant to when you look on google or from other indian restaurant.

First time of going there as general don't have curry unless I make it myself. Ordered some of the mild dishes, but even they were quite spicy. Didn't seem much meat, but way too much sauce in every dish. Taste was OK, but definitely wouldn't be a first place to go if wanted takeout, I'll stick to making my own, and much cheaper. They did give us free poppadoms and some chutneys to try.

The food was awful. We ordered "vegetable paneer", "Garlic Mushroom", "Tarka Daal", "Daal Masala" and some breads and boiled rice from the menu.To start with Vegetable Paneer - the name is deceiving/fraud as there was no Paneer (Paneer is an Indian Cottage cheese) rather it was baked on top with Mozzarella cheese.Mushroom in Garlic Mushroom was Raw and not edible.Daal Tarka was having around 15 pieces of big raw garlic size of a Pound 1 coin.On top, when i called the restaurant to give this feedback, the manager "Alli Anwar" was rude, not taking any feedback at all. He was well aware Vegetable Paneer aint having any Paneer and his reason was its not available in UK which is untrue as cheese is easily available in majority of UK groceries. This is real case of cheating as he is aware and still selling putting Mozzarella cheese calling Paneer. The restaurant and the manager Alli Anwar doesnt care about customers at all as he told me on phone that he doesnt care about his ratings on google and he is running his business 20 years. He even told that his restaurant is not for Asian (indian) customers rather only for English. It was really a bitter and awful experience.I would advice to please do not order any food at all as the restaurant is duping people.

Ordered from this place a few times and we've always had a bad experience.Late and missing itemsWe placed an order at 7pm and was told it would be delivered at 8pm. 8pm came and went and still no delivery we called up to be told the driver was on his way, at 9pm still no order so we called again to be verbally abused by a member of staff, would not listen to us and kept talking over us.Our order finally arrived at 9.40pm with the driver pretty much just chucking it on the doorstep and running to his car to avoid seeing us (this has all been caught on our cctv)JustEat arranged for us to have a refund but the restaurant has declined the refund. The food was pretty much cold and looked like it had been chewed and spat back out. Absolutely disgusting. This place needs EHO and trading standards to get involved.

Very good food but collect your order. We've had many meals from here over the years and, with one exception, and they've all been good. The naan breads in particular are well worth trying. As per other reviews, don't ask for delivery which can take a stupidly long time. Phone your order in and collect it.Parking in the evening is easy as there are always spaces.

We have ordered from this restaurant several times before. The food is good. On this occasion we ordered at 1811. The app said to expect the delivery at 1905. At 1900 we were told it was delayed and would arrive at 1915. At 1935 we called and were told the delivery had left the restaurant and was with the driver. We called again at 2005 and were told to hold on while they called the driver. After a couple of minutes the restaurant hung up and when we called back the phone was unanswered. When the food eventually arrived at 2020 it had been in a car for nearly an hour. It was only Luke warm and the bag had disintegrated from the condensation. WE WONT BE ORDERING AGAIN which is a shame as it was our preferred Indian takeaway in Gloucester.

Lovely food BUT terrible delivery service. Currently been waiting over 2 hours for our food having ordered online. Phoned 30 minutes ago to be told it will be with us in 10 minutes. Hangry husband now back on the phone (holding for 10 mins so far - he's going to blow soon) to find out where our food is. This seems to be a regular occurrence with us and other customers so sadly it's probably time to find a new takeaway service. Shimla Spice on the Bristol Road is equally as good for anyone else looking...👍🏻

I’ve had some good meals from the Garlic but I won’t ever use their delivery service again (which means I’m unlikely to buy from them again).Last time I used them the delivery was unacceptably late (I had to phone to chase it up) but last night was awful. I ordered at 6.45pm and earliest delivery was given as 8.05pm. At 7.55pm I got a text saying it was on its way.At 8.20pm I phoned and was told it had left the premises. At 8.40pm it still hadn’t arrived so I phoned but couldn’t get through after numerous attempts (engaged constantly). I was fed up by now.Eventually it turned up at 9pm nearly an hour late and two and a quarter hours after ordering.Really not good enough...don’t take orders if you can’t cope!

Do not order here. Order was 2.5hrs late so we rang to be told the driver was lost, then that he had been in an accident, then told he was on his way!? Safe to say, the food never arrived and when we asked for a refund they hung up, then refused to answer the phone for the rest of the evening. Do not order here, awful service.
