Lovely, warm welcoming reception. We had a small dog, had great dinner by the log fire. Bedroom was clean and cosy. Very comfortable bed. We will come back hopefully in the summer. Thank you.

Fantastic place to stay, great prices (we booked direct with them) easy to find & lots of parking. Our room was very clean & had a hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee, hot chocolate & some bottles of water & glasses. Toiletries & towels were also supplied.Staff were very friendly & helpful & the food was fantastic! The quality of the meats on my breakfast were amazing & cooked to perfection.

Stef and the Team recently took over at the Kings Head House and hosted my 30th party. They could not have impressed me more. Nothing was too much to ask, nothing was without a smile and everything was fantastic; the food was incredible and plentiful, the function room they provided was superb and the log fire at the bar was the cherry on the cake for a perfect atmosphere. We are very excited to go back - multiple times!

Went for a pre wedding breakfast and the quality of food was amazing !!! The service was warm and friendly and a special thanks to the gentleman who gave us a bottle of bubbles on the house, a really kind gesture. Will 100% vist again when passing through.

We didn’t stay but we ate - on the way to camping at got hungry and stopped on a whim - we were so glad we did! Really lovely food, amazing price and the service was exemplary. Pizza is delicious - we asked for the blue cheese sauce when we got our pizzas not thinking ahead and unfortunately the chef was already on other orders (so it’s clearly made fresh), got mayo which tasted home made and then a minute later the chef sent out some of the best blue cheese we ever had, complimentary as it wasn’t a full portion but he did have a little left over from a previous order :) stop here for food, you won’t regret it!

I rate this place highly as it is a beautiful old building that has been well restored and the interiors are cool and well designed. The staff are very friendly too.I appreciate it as it is near a big motorway and it was so much nicer stopping here for a break rather than one of those snack-factories on the m5.We should do more to support these kind of local establishments.
