The Lord High Constable of England - JD Wetherspoon in Gloucester

Not a great experience, dirty glasses with visible lipstick stains. Poor standards from staff due to a main meal being brought to the wrong table. After witnessing the other party play with the food for over 20 minutes they finally realised it wasn’t there’s and flagged the waiting staff. The staff member then proceeded to take the plate directly to us?! Really? No way. We asked for a new one instantly. I don’t except 5 stars but common sense is mandatory in this working environment.

Sorry Wetherspoons but not impressed today. Our Table not clean and the next table not cleared during our sitting. Carpet on another adjacent table littered with food from previous occupants and not cleared up in the hour we spent there. No milk in either machine when we went for refill - apparently a member of staff had gone to buy some! This was Sunday lunchtime! No apology and no alternative offered. Our food was fine but our friends’ food did not meet with your normal standard.

Nice burger and g&t! Never had anything bad when eating here. Yes not Michelin star but just good honest grub at a good price and with a drink as well! Easy table service using the app so just an easy place to eat.

All 5 people at our table definitely would not recommend!! Waited over 45 minutes for our drinks (ordered on the app) then over 1 hour and 15 minutes for the food. The food came (cold peas) (cold stale chips) unable to cut the chicken with a knife (bottom of the chicken was black)Burger came with no sauce in! Bun wasn't even toasted! Burger was dry. Eggs were like rubber. Side salad didnt even show up.There was no warning for a wait on food no warning about a wait on drinks.It was a completely horrendous experience and i will never even think about coming back again.Staff were just rude.No attempt on offering any way to fix the problem and no chance for a refund.

What a great spoons on the quay side. Definitely has it's traditional quirkiness. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Here u go usual Wetherspoon like others. Nothing changed. Full noisy, tables full of left overs, glasses, plates. Even now a days we need more cleanliness than before in this covid times.Anyhow usual cask n keg, food, loud voices with big crowd. Staff was cool n service was fine. Security was there to cover any situation. Atmosphere was nice. Hope soon Wetherspoon improve their style by having more staff for extra cleaning stuff n arranging other things

Doesn't look very big from the outside, but very spacious inside!, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating at the front and rear. We went on a very sunny Friday afternoon around 2pm, busy but not over packed. Used the app to order as table service had a 25 minute wait. We had three different pizzas, all fresh, tasty and really good value. Drink prices also very competitive too. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and a great place to spend a couple of hours whilst shopping.

Excellent Wetherspoons location set right in the heart of the historic Gloucester docks, with imposing Grade 2 listed warehouses providing an impressive & atmospheric backdrop. As always fantastic value food & drinks, a good relaxing atmosphere and discovered here a very pleasant outdoor seating area. Recommended to visit!

This pub has a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. However the gentleman serving us forgot to get us forks and the drinks took a long time to get to us.The food was lovely but the pizza slightly under cooked.This pub is such great value compared to what other pubs are charging and the building feels very spacious. We will definitely be goung there again.
