"The pub is open for breakfast until 12 noon and offers free refills (all day every day) on tea and Lavazza coffee. For lunch and dinner, there are lighter bites, with deli deal options and vegetarian choices, gourmet burgers and freshly made pizzas. Wetherspoon has championed a wide range of drinks, including real ales, craft beers, gins and soft drinks. Table service is available via the Wetherspoon app, using our unlimited free Wi-Fi. Food has always been great. Staff are always friendly. I would of given 5 stars if the hot drinks machines worked properly on a regular basis.

Been quite a while since I've had chance to go out for an afternoon pub meal. Fancied a quick bite before shopping and definitely didn't want to have any more fast food drive thru's.Went to The Regal on a Saturday before Gloucester played rugby. Didn't know what to expect service wise, but read a sign at the bar saying that we could order from our table using the app. The app was really straight forward, ordered food and drinks for myself and my daughter. Modified her burger to have no salad and extra bacon and cheese and modified my burger to have halloumi fries in. Paid on the app also. There was about a 10 minute wait for drinks to arrive. Which wasn't bad considering the amount of people there. Food came not too long after, looked amazing. Portion size was great as mine included onion rings too. Chips and burger were super hot. Only downside was the burger still contained salad, bonus being more for me!!Didn't get offered any sauces and a quick scan of the room didn't help find a bottle of much needed ketchup either. Without the usual condiments for such a meal, the food was still 9/10. I would definitely go again!

Not the beat of the chain but friendly staff . The food is better these days for sure ,after the lockdown it was struggling to achieve the quality tbh . Back up to speed . I had a curry and my partner had the burger Meal . Beer good all for £16+ what more can you ask for for that sort of money .

Prices are good. Pizza was cheap and nasty plastic cheese and doughy base. Not as good as previous visits probably due to Covid and staffing levels.

Had lunch here today. Wonderful pub set in an old cinema. The king kong feature was fantastic & had lot of cinema memorabilia. Had the lemon & herb chicken with halloumi cheese, & coleslaw for lunch, was a fantastic meal. Lovely citrusy chargrilled taste to it, the naga sauce was very spicy but full of flavour. Wss a wonderful meal & would definitely have it again. The food was served pretty quickly, staff were really nice & polite. Was a massive selection of beers, ales & spirits to choose from at amazing prices. Beer starts at 99p a pint. Highly recommended this venue.

Sympathetic use of the old cinema, very nostalgic. Decent food & beer, cheap prices. What I loved about this place is that they appear to be offering opportunities to those that have had few of them in the past. Great to see, well done Wetherspoons.

A little bit dated inside but as with all Wetherspoons drink very well priced the surprise was the food. Handmade pizza was very very good ( a bit spicy for me ) but everyone else loved it. Service was excellent. Plenty of atmosphere for sporting events and telly's galore.

Very nice food. Quick service. Friendly staff. Only downside was the 3 drunks in the corner even though they didn't cause any harm. Staff were quick to stop them smoking in the wrong area

What a lovely place for drink. Hugh space, plenty of seatings as they convert this place as pub. It was an Old cinema before n they used this space well. Love the indoor n outdoor seating. Service is cool as well as staff.
