Crispy beef well over cooked. Crispy duck pancakes so little salad. Delivery so expensive.

Chicken balls were really nice BUT over the last 4 years I've been going here the amount of sauce you get with them has become less and less which is really disappointing and so I'll probably go elsewhere in future and get better value for money.

Difficult to rate this place. I wouldn't eat anywhere else for years but standards seem to be dropping.

Horrible food twice in a row. Very bland flavours, way too much sauce, and everything with the same mushy texture. Had way better from elsewhere! Won't order from here again. They get a star for speed of delivery only (which can be manipulated by exaggerating the length of time expected in the first place).

Lovely food tonight. Had the chicken curry which is the best I’ve tasted in a long time. Sweet and sour chicken which was perfectly crisp. Delivery time was very good. Really enjoyed it. Definitely will order again!

The food was excellent. I was disappointed with the lack of a card machine on site - it took longer to navigate the mobile website to order and pay than it took for the food to be prepared. Staff could have explained there was a cash point nearby, but didn't mention it even though I explained I wasn't local.

Lady on the phone couldn’t understand what I was asking to order, my post code, my house number. Phone around 6:15pm, told a 2 hr wait for delivery, 30 mins to collect and after a very painful experience trying to order with the woman we was told there was no chips. Got to woke express at 6:50pm- waited... and waited... and waited. Got home at 8:00pmSweet and sour sauce was like pure vinegarChicken satay skewers was a vile curryBbq spare ribs were fat covered in a vile sauce.1/4 duck was the most disappointing- dry and hard or fatty and full of skin and to top it off there wasn’t even a 1/4 worth of duck there. Won’t be ordering from there againNo organisation, no clue, no concerns for customers.2020 in tier 4 would expect more take-away meals due to lockdown, so businesses should of been prepared food-wise and staff-wise and only take on what you can handle.

Chips drowning in salt and done in old oil. Sweet and sour sauce tastes like black bean sauce. Chicken balls oily and soggy with undercooked batter. Noodles taste rubbery and bland. Crispy beef is wet and soggy, not at all crispy.Every other time visiting, the food was amazing. However, this time it is poorly made.

Food quality seems to depend heavily on which day you go there, have ordered from here and food has been amazing on one day, some described as 'the best Chinese they'd ever had', other days it is the worst you could have, food is greasy and too much liquid, duck was burnt and difficult to eat ect. Pick your days here carefully, I have normally found Fridays are not too bad but it's a gamble either way.

The food from this place is absolutely delicious. Me and my family have been ordering from here for years. It's a great treat when I am home to visit for a few days and the staff even remember me when I come in, even though I am only ever in once in a blue moon. Honestly delicious. Not a huge selection but what they do, they do really well. The best Takeaway of this kind in Gloucester. For example, most Chinese Curries taste exactly the same wherever you order it. At the Wok Express it's different, not so generic and delicious all the same.
