Zizzi - Gloucester Quays in Gloucester

We came here this evening for a family treat. This is our first time visiting & certainly won't be the last. We were served by Nic who was lovely, efficient, & had a constant smile on her face.The food was beautiful with good size portions. All four dishes went down a treat. The puddings were amazing too but had no room to finish them. Thank you for a lovely evening 😉

Front of House members unfortunately flippant in regards to allergens. Could neither confirm nor deny if an allergen was present, and didn't even inform us whether it was present after claiming to ask the back of house staff. Served the dish anyway, and turns out, the allergen is present, due to the allergic reaction that happened after we left.

Just pop today before going to the cinema. We had a fantastic welcome from the manager restaurant , was very busy ans d told us to comeback in 10 minutes. Came back gave us a table. Polish waiter from bristol was class very efficient ans polite.We had a lovely experience here today.Be back again

We had such a fab experience at Zizzi today! The food was delicious and there was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Definitely recommend 👌

Zizzi Gloucester. Easy booking. Lovely greeting by staff. Warm atmosphere. Attentive staff. Delicious food. Not rushed. Used Tesco vouchers for payment toward the bill. No cash accepted which may be an issue for some which was not advertised on the website.

I've visited here twice.The first time was really good, very friendly staff, satisfying drinks and lovely food.The second time they had a new menu. The staff are is still nice but the drinks and food were quite disappointing.

Wandered in here after we were ignored in Wagamama. The contrast in customer service couldn’t have been starker. We were very well looked after by warm and friendly staff. The food didn’t take long and was hot, tasty and fresh. To be honest I have no negatives, it was a lovely dining experience.

On 12/09/2021. So listen to this, I-went to have a £££ meal with the wife at this restaurant around 7.15pm…only to be told by the waitress they won’t be taking any further bookings? For my sake, the restaurant was practically empty …I won’t be bothering with your Zizzi place for while. I’d rather now go for Turkish kebab at least those businesses are grateful for a visit..Bye bye!

Amazing food, great service and always a great place to eat but why the 2 stars instead of 5 you ask. Getting to the bottom of a very nice large glass of malbec i found a relatively large (1 pence piece) peice of the wine bottle seal in the glass after I had paid the bill and we were getting ready to leave. On the way out i spoke to a staff member and showed them the glass and it did not register with them at the seriousness of what might have happened if I swallowed it, I did not even get an apology which really was all I was looking for. I love zizzi's but think I will stay away from the Gloucester quays restaurant in future.
