Art Bank Cafe in Mendip

Stopped for a quick coffee in this quaintly decorated not for profit cafe.The staff were both professional and friendly. While the coffee lay pleasantly on the palate. The cakes looked delicious and I will be trying them on my next visit.

Fantastic gem of a cafe located in the old bank in the heart of Shepton! I knew from my first peek around the door I had to enter for an explore! From the fabulous recycled artwork on the walls to the mobile phone screens leading to the art exhibition, the whole place is a delightful and colourful feast for the eyes and really (if you are like me!) gets your creative juices flowing! The tunes playing were a delightful mix of upbeat melodies without being too in your face! Friendly smiley staff and a wonderful selection of reasonably priced drinks (throughly recommend their oatmilk Orange hot chocolate!) Will definitely be returning!

Love it! We went for an evening of music. Lovely crowd, very friendly team, great vibes and a beautiful large space full of quirky, arty character. We will definitely be back again soon. Thank you 🎶🎵🙂💚

Amazing place, lovely food, best coffee, great atmosphere. This place has the best interior ever with all the brilliant art to look at. Only been once so far but want to visit lots as will soon be living closer by.

Very relaxed & comfortable atmosphere, staff were friendly. However they got our order wrong when we asked for a coffee & tea, only to be served with 2 coffees, they had no pastries or cakes available. They explained they had only been open that day since the weekend, so you would have thought they would use that time to make some knowing they were open on the Wednesday.

Absolutely love it in The Art Bank Cafe, extremely friendly and very welcoming staff, great food (the chocolate brownie is to die for) would definitely 100% recommend it to anyone

Well worth a visit, beautiful building, so much to look , great coffee and they do vegan cake too! Lovely people always friendly and chatty

Such a fabulous place. Quirky art inspired by Alice in Wonderland. A cosy and retro atmosphere. We forgot our wallet, and the guy gave us a cup of tea for free! Cake looked marvellous! Also serving alcohol/food on certain evenings (but not every day).
