ASK - Wells in Mendip

Oh my days this branch is really dreadful. Staff are nice but forgot to put my order through so my fellow guests got there food and had finished by the time mine arrived. We had a table by the windows which was nice until you realised its where they stored the bins for early morning collection that stank to high heaven

Situated next to the Bishops Palace at the top of Wells main Street with views over the moat. Accomodating staff with the ability to order via their dine in app. Food was good, service was fast even though they were busy.

Very clean place, cheerful staff, toilets clean and well managed. Food was tasty and good quality. I recommend this place if you like Italian food

Nice food! Great location especially in the summer. Bit of a problem whenever I try to book online so you are better off ringing up to book to avoid dissappointment

Nice meal here,4x.stop over for us early evening. Fast service,clean, good food too wiv a pleasant view of Bishops Palace.

It is in a lovely location but the service was slow and place was cold.

Bit disappointing. Attitude of staff wasn't the best when we asked to move table. Kept being called 'my friend' by one waiter which felt odd! Had sea bass which was bland and floating in what appeared to be water but apparently was white wine sauce. Shame there was no taste of wine. Coffee was luke warm. Overall not the best and I'm unlikely to return.

Although the phone to table ordering system was down, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic too. If you enjoy Italian food, eat here.

Clean modern setting fair valued meals. I had pizza. Was actually very nice, bit above average. Priced about average too. Service was good but it wasn't particularly busy but there was one large party of maybe eight or so people. Think if you want Italian food you'd be happy here.

ASK Italian serves good tasty food but the unique thing today was the ordering and paying via an app on my smart phone.No waiting for a harassed waiter to find time to stop, they are all busy serving the food. And payment is direct too, when you're ready to go you just settle up online and walk off. Very neat!!
