Best Western Swan Hotel in Mendip

Wonderfully friendly staff, beautiful location, building and rooms. Breakfast was excellent.Hotel is still operating on a reduced service, which might impact some people's stay but for us wasn't an issue. Room cleanliness in regards to the odd missed hair in the bathroom needs a bit of attention, but it was nothing that we couldn't rinse out of the tub to get rid of. Would definitely stay again, it is in such an amazing location!

Been here a few times for the odd beer, but this visit was sadly for a wake. Can not complain about the service and Oscar the waiter was outstanding. He engaged with the customers and went beyond to please. He is a credit not only to the hotel but to his family also. It's a pleasure to meet people like him.

We just called in for drinks. Easily the most upmarket experience in Wells town centre. The barman"s service and politeness was very much appreciated. Wine prices good and definitely no more than nearby establishments.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Wells. Staff and the service was first class. Calum the bartender was a really nice pleasant and informative guy. The room was spacious needs a little updating but overall a great stay. Will definitely be back.

Recently got married here & can't rate it enough! The staff were outstanding, rooms beautiful & our wedding just perfect. Was sad to leave. Thank you all.

My daughter and I found our room well equipped, clean with super comfy beds. Very nice decor!Staff very helpful and attentive.Location is perfect with lots of on site parking but be mindful this is an old coaching entrance so narrow and twiBreakfast was distinctly average but plentiful.Would recommended

Beautiful old but well-kept building. Lovely room with beautiful wallpaper. Location great. Reception staff exceptionally helpful and friendly, but barman in gin bar didn't know anything about gin!Snobby old guests will make snide remarks about people they judge to be beneath them.

Great location opposite the cathedral and in the centre of the city. Plenty of free parking onsite. Nice well laid out standard bedroom. Good choice of food and drinks, especially the 70+ gin bar. Friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely return and would recommend.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, beautiful room. Didn't have dinner so I can't review that, but breakfast was great! Fantastic location in a beautiful city as well (our room overlooked the cathedral! Will definitely stay here again.
