Cafe Nouveau in Mendip

Lovely little place to sit and have a bite to eat or just a coffee. Really friendly staff and the cafe is set in a beautiful location. Loved it.

Super tasty homemade food! The cakes were amazing and the staff were lovely too. We sat in the garden to eat, what a gorgeous place!

Lovely little gem out in the countryside..paninis were very nice..a good menu..lots of delicious cakes..two large lakes to walk around with plenty of wildlife.worth a visit.

Myself and my wife visited the cafe today late afternoon,the owner was very friendly ,food and drinks all great tasty and well worth the money.we sat outside and enjoyed the views of the lakes and green.I must say as I read the last review that it’s very sad in our current world that people feel that it’s important weather you have a proper cup or takeaway cup I think in the current world this would not be as important. And I would have thought that with all that has happened in the world in the last couple of years and is happening we would be past the small things but maybe that’s our family. Totally peoples choice but thoughts .I like too think people understand that customer based businesses are hard too run with short staff new staff etc etc . And if this isn’t understood then maybe they have never run a customer facing business . Please visit this little gem of a cafe as its too nice . And please keep up all your hard work and thanks for a great visit.

Really lovely place with great views and great food, far more vegan options than I expected which was a nice surprise!

The place offers some fantastic food and cakes. The coffee is very good, and they have s great deal of dairy alternatives. The ladies working there are always nice, and it's a great place to visit when sunny, as the lakeside offers a very relaxing atmosphere.

Lovely place to stop for a cupper a bite to eat and take in the views of Wiltshire and the mendips. There are lovey walks around the lakes bring your wellies in the rain. There is also a Children's play area, my children aged 4 and 8 loved it target age group. Please take the time to visit this wonderful part of the UK.

Lovely little cafe serving a myriad of gluten and dairy free delicacies! All day English breakfast is served as well, which is great for late risers like us. Beautiful setting outside with a lake and playground. When I visited only the small fore-room was used, hoping to see the while place next time I visit.

Lovely cakes, only down side is the hot drinks in paper cups.

Friendly staff, great selection of food, particularly the cakes. Granddaughter enjoyed the play park although she found it difficult getting up to the slides as there were no ladders only saggy rope nets or climbing walls. Enjoyed a walk around the lakes after our tea and cakes
