Castello in Mendip

Lovely food. Bought two pizzas and 2 salads at a very reasonable price and they came in very big portions which was amazing. The waiter who served us was extremely kind and friendly and the service was very good. Definitely coming back.

Wow. Stopped here after a tiring day at Longleat Safari Park. We were greeted at the door by friendly staff and escorted to our table. Definitely a hidden gem, modern decor with a homely feel. The food is outstanding with a very varied selection on the menu. Definitely recommend if your in frome or surrounding. Beautiful

Outstanding food and service. We had a table of 18. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and attentive. I will definitely go again.

Husband enjoyed his calzone but in our opinion this was a restaurant charging prices for a place that it is not. I had a Greek salad which was fine but tasted like I'd made it myself at home with value ingredients. The feta was cut from a cheap plasticy block, the tomatoes had no flavour and the rest of the salad literally looked like a bag from your local supermarket in a nice bowl with a close to 13 quid price tag. They forgot the olives which were delivered separately we had one course each for four of us (2 guests children) and bill was just over 70 pound with one alcoholic drink. It was fine, but not worthy of the London prices for a bog standard meal.

Italian food nicely plated in very acceptable time. Tasty too. Friendly amenable service. One of us asked for a starter not on the menu and they made it happen in such a kindly manner. So pleased we went there for our "Italian". There is some on street parking to be had. The restaurant appears to be on 3 levels. We left Castello after our enjoyable meal with a warm feel good feeling. :+)

The food is amazing. The staff is amazing. We had vegan Pizza and Sphagetti Pasta. Both were delicious. Vegetarian customers can visit nd have good food here.
